Wished for better service.

My husband, daughter and I visited here on President's Day weekend. Our server explained to us, multiple times, that she was new. The look of the restaurant is awesome. We loved the decor and location. We ordered our appetizers and they came out in a descent amount of time. We asked for a few sides... read more

Make a reservation as they can get busy. Just 2 of us dined here apres ski. Good beer as expected (its a brewery too) and hubs got a sample beer board (6 4 oz. samples.) I tried them too and they were tasty, each with their own interesting profile. Started with a cheese sampler. Kind of pricey - $16 and... More

My family and I needed a reservation for dinner over the holidays and I was a little surprised at how easy it was to get one at Crop Bistro, a new Stowe restaurant. The restaurant has some style but we (three of us) were seated in the back of the restaurant in a location with no style. Our server seemed... More

Over the past five years my family have enjoyed a week or so up at the Stowe Mountain ski area. Each time we visit we always make plans to eat at The Crop. Once the final ski run is complete, we get changed and make our way straight to the Crop so we can get a high-top table in the... More

We have tried Crop a few times over the last couple of years, and it has improved but not worth the prices. The service is inconsistent, and the menu is good, but food only ok. Have had salads, Mac and cheese and entrees. In the summer the outdoor patio is right on the bike path and nice spot.

Good drink when they had their mixologist but he left and now hit or miss. It still has the old shed bar and now a new circular bar. Food was good on average

stopped in for lunch with a group of friends. Wonderful seats in front of the fireplace, prompt and very friendly service. Interesting menus with interesting-sounding sandwiches a gyros (pronounced heroes). Sadly the food wasn't as good as we hoped, though it was generous. The fun part was the flight of their own beers—six 4oz. glasses, each different. We all tried... More

This is a great looking bar/restaurant with a really good and interesting selection of sandwiches, soups, burgers, kebabs for lunch. Service was prompt and the food very good. Portions are certainly on the generous side and most of the table was 'beaten' by the end - after a morning on the slopes or on a cold winters day this is... More

While Crop has been through a few iterations, the latest one is its best. The silvery interior is intimate and its new menu has something for everyone. The portions are huge and the food is really delicious. If you haven't been in a while, be sure to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent turkey chili with a flight of beer is the perfect way to end a morning of outdoor activities. The bar area is rustic and cozy, dining area modern chic feel. Good service and great customers to share a few laughs with.
