We love food - not just any food but great food! Couple that with outstanding service and we’re happy campers. Thats what we wanted to bring to everyone in Stowe! Not only are we a great spot for salad seekers and vegetarians but if you’re looking for some savory comfort food then we wont disappoint! Our goal for the cafe is not to be boxed into one type of cuisine. We love and enjoy different flavors and thats what you can expect with us on any given day.All of our food is made fresh using the highest quality ingredients so every bite is a delight and every person you meet will greet you with a smile thats genuine! Many of our Italian and Mediterranean dishes were handed down to us from our families that have been in this business for generations and we couldn't be prouder to bring them to your table. See you soon!Warmest Regards,Athena and Tim

What a sandwich board!

They have a massive sandwich board with what look like so many excellent choices for breakfast and lunch! I tried the outlaw wrap, not quick but certainly delicious.

So this is my third time here, and the food has never been a disappointment. I always enjoy my meal, but Stowe has tons of great restaurants to choose from, and if it was up to me I would probably not go out of my way to come here. I do not mind clearing my plates, getting my own coffee/silverware,... More

Hi there - thank you so much for your feedback. We have just been discussing this. Unfortunately when town experiences its seasonal peak times the items we have are sometimes difficult to scale (like juice and smoothies) due to there not being an availability of people to run that area. Will look into other areas with manager. More

I've been a few times, but after our last visit I'll never go back due to the owner's incredibly rude and angry response to our lost order. Half of our large party got our sandwiches, and half an hour later, one of the still hungry went to the counter to ask about theirs. The owner was brusque, said she couldn't... More

Sorry both sides couldn't be more understanding. But on the plus side, this experience really helped up make some good decisions about how we move forward with certain things. More

Great salads and sandwiches. Sometimes gets really busy and the staff gets a bit overwhelmed. The owner is BRASH super loud and quick to respond but slow to deliver. All that said it is still one of the best places to have lunch in Stowe.

Thank for the response about the food. The team has been working really hard. Im sorry if Ive seemed brash, Ive been dealing with some pretty tragic news about my baby and Tim and their health- so I guess Ive been trying too hard and have been over compensating? I'll work on that. I hope you have a great day.... More

Good food, laid back atmosphere, almost self-serve expectations. Was surprised after I sat down to learn that you get your own coffee, pay before you eat, and if you want silverware...you will need to go to the bin and get what you need. I really liked the staff here, but the set up made it feel very transactional....I left a... More

The Green Goddess is the type of cafe I love: great ambiance, local artisan coffee and lots of inventive breakfast and lunch offerings. There was a short line but a full restaurant when I stopped in for breakfast. I never would have thought that two breakfast wraps would take nearly 40 minutes to come out of the kitchen (and for... I had high hopes for this place but left unimpressed. I ordered two eggs over easy and no meat, sliced tomatoes instead. Eggs arrived over hard, tomatoes were the cheap truck supplied ones instead of the excellent tomatoes you see at every corner this time of year. One slice of un buttered toast, asked for butter and was given a... More

We were driving through Stowe and fancied breakfast so called in here. Fair number of people in which we thought was a good sign, but it was very noisy, both the volume of the diners, the music and the acoustics of the room. Surprised that there is no waitress service and we had to both queue to order and collect,... More

Hello there! I am so sorry that you were directed to place you items where we have a dish area. Not sure if this was a result of us being very busy that day but we appreciate you having done so but certainly isnt something you should have been told to do. Not at all happy to hear that. Do... More

We love this place-they have an excellent breakfast menu! Great food and coffee. They are open for lunch also but we have never been there at that time. If you are looking for a breakfast made with the freshest of ingredients, this is the place for you!
