Paradise tucked away in Stowe,VT.

A charming cafe in Stowe,VT. that has a very, very extensive menu.Make your own salads, choose from a large selection of sandwiches, homemade soups & a variety of sides. Everything is FRESH. Serve breakfast and lunch. Could use another person in kitch to handle demand.

The Green Goddess staff took extra care preparing my gluten free sandwich and the bread was fresh and not even toasted. Thanks for having GF options!

Nice place to stop and have lunch. Food portions were generous and priced very reasonably. Lots to choose from on the menu. Seems a popular spot for locals. Service was very fast and friendly.

This place offers an interesting menu of wraps, paninis, and sandwiches. I had a chicken panini with roasted peppers that was nicely spiced. The Cuban looked very good, and the children's toasted cheese with bacon was excellent. Seating is somewhat limited. I did not like the fact that you were expected to choose a tip on the front end with... More

We stopped in during a recent lacrosse weekend in Stowe for a quick coffee and ended up eating there both days for breakfast and lunch. Warm inviting atmosphere, wonderful staff and the best smoothies, fresh juices and muffins. The lunches are fresh and good portions without being over filling.

We made it here right before it got really swamped. Lots of choices and everything sounded delicious. The create your own salads are massive. I had The Tourist, hubby had The Cuban, and my toddler had the kid's turkey and cheddar wrap. Waited a while, but worth it. Definitely plan on going back next time we're in the area. There's... The create your own salad is my favorite! Fresh ingredients, tasty, in a huge salad bowl to properly toss the ingredients! A large enough portions to eat half and take home the other half for dinner. Sorry to say the last time I was there the music was less than desirable. What used to be a place to relax and... More

I pass through Stowe about 4-6 times/ year for work and try my best to coordinate these visits w/ a lunch stop at GGC. I always get a salad and my salad is always outstanding. There are many unique, fresh and delicious ingredients to choose from. The portions are generous and they are served in lovely, large wooden bowls. What... More

We often go to Black Cap Cafe for weekend lunch, coffee and some relaxing time but since their food option is very limited we decided to look for another place and this is what we found. Their menu is indeed much more extensive to our satisfaction, from breakfast sandwiches to breakfast platters to wide variety of lunch sandwiches to smoothies... More
