A fine meal with excellent service. We had Lamb T Bone (never had that before!). The Dining room is very nicely appointed and our seat had a view of the mountain valley with a hovering mist that made it look cloudlike.

Service was terrible, staff had a don't care attitude! Overpriced food, not the selection of food you would expect from an Austrian Family.

The quality of food and overall dining experience at the Trapp Family Lodge has improved dramatically under chef Cody Vasek. We had stopped eating in the dining room several years ago due to a decline in the food but ate there and on the terrace 6 nights during our recent stay. The chef is using many ingrediants right off thge... More

We had breakfast and dinner. Their breakfast buffet is loaded with many wonderful foods. Our server at dinner was Raymond and he was excellent. Coffee and a rich chocolate cake finished the meal. The menu had a Austrian flavor and the wait staff is dressed accordingly.

Breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, even for a young, picky eater. Beyond buffet, attractive menu.

This was one of the best meals we've ever had. The chef combined tastes and textures in unique ways--too delicious to miss if you go to Stowe. The view was magnificent, staff friendly and professional.

We had our annual breakfast in the Trapp Dining Room on Friday, June 25th and were not disappointed. The breakfast selection was outstanding - everything from pancakes to eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, granola, fruit, yogurt to hash browns and delicious maple syrup. This is a must visit location if you are staying at the Trapp Family Lodge, Guest Houses or... More

The building and grounds are beautiful. The service was very attentive and classy. The food was just not good. We started the evening with drinks on the patio that showed off the spectacular views and let us take in the beautiful summer evening. We should have stopped there and dined somewhere else. In our party of 10, I'd say 4... More

Maybe we caught them on an off night, or they were too busy taking care of the party of 12 at the next table, but we could not believe what we were served. The white asparagus with crab soup looked grey and both looked and tasted very fishy. The schnitzel dinner had to be salted...and a lot of salt at... More

This place has great homemade beer and very nice staff the scenic outlook is worth the price alone food is also outstanding the only reason i am not giving it a higher rating is because its overpriced and theres not enough room inside especially for a place that prides itself of beer making the bar is so small
