Breakfast Buffet is a Winner

Its hard to believe that any breakfast whim is not catered to in this excellent buffet. Traditional eggs, french toast, pancake, bacon and sausage lovers will be well served. Four adults and five preteens for dinner. The service was good and the Sommelier was very helpful, but the food was forgettable. The atmosphere was warm and relatively family friendly as most in the dining room appeared to be families who were hungry and relaxing after a day of skiing. Dress attire was casual.

The daily breakfast buffet was wonderful! Great variety and great quality. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good. Cocktails were delicious. We were staying in the hotel so you couldn't beat the convenience.

We have been staying here every winter for years. The food is getting heavier and heavier, which seems odd, given the current trend toward healthier food and this is a resort known for its Nordic skiing, so it attracts people who take care of themselves. There are no vegetables listed on the menu as sides, although they will make them... More

My wife and I have eaten in many fine restaurants in both the U.S. and Europe. Many of those restaurants served German and/or Austrian food. We have been coming here at least once per winter for 5 or 6 years now. We've always found the food good, sometimes very good. So we were disappointed when I ordered the pork belly... More

I grew up on the stories of the Trapp family, Sound of Music, etc. So, I was looking forward to dinner at the resort. It was a little too expensive to stay at the resort, but we could swing a special meal. Gee, what a disappointment. We ordered the veal weinerschnitzel. The veal cutlet was thick and tough. Listen, I... More

We ate here for breakfast one day of our 6 day trip. The food was pricey but delicious. It is definitely a good and convenient if you are staying at the lodge. It is also pretty romantic.
