The food at the Cliff House Restaurant was surprisingly good, likely due to our fatigue after a long hike. The staff were friendly and attentive and very forgiving of 2 sweaty hikers. I understand that the restaurant is only open limited hours depending on the time of year, so be sure to call ahead if there is any doubt. Highly... More

Great mountain top views. We dined at night. The ski lift trip was fun to the top. It's amazing how complete the resturaunt was even though its at the top of the mountain. We had to cut our vist short as the winds picked up almost to the point where they'd stop running the lift. They joked we'd have to... More

Cliffhouse offers a really good cheese fondue! It comes with bread, apples and pepperoni (Big enough for two) but what you really need to have is their hot chocolate which is the best I've ever had, or if you prefer something alcoholic I would go for a bloody mary! Can get full quickly during the busy season, so make a... More

Just one remark. You do not want to leave. The views, the food and the staff makes it more appealing than the skiing !!!

My son and I found this restaurant by accident on DAY #1. WOW. Great atmosphere great location at the top of the gondola and our burger was fantastic. Warm and efficient serving staff. A MUST SEE if this is your first trip to STOWE. You will not be disappointed.

The view is spectacular. That said, the food is also great--nice wines by the glass, and enough variety on the menu to satisfy most. Staff is accommodating. One of the best burgers around, nice Caesar salad, to which you can add salmon, steak or chicken. I'm just dismayed that more larger groups with young children are making their way to... More

Tourist trap spoiler alert! Ok so if you ski, you can get here easily enough with the price of the lift ticket. But if you don't it's $26 for the gondola up and back, yes folks just once! The restaurant has stunning views and as has been said, on a clear day you can see forever ( if your eyes... More

Breath-taking view restaurant located on the top of Mount Mansfield, can go there by gondolas and ski back. My recommendation is to go there very early around 11 am it will be full if you wait until the lunch time. We went there at 11 am, only three tables occupied, but the waiter kind of rushing us out when it... More

Trip to the top mountain and the view were the best parts. The food was very expensive for the quality.

located at the highest peak of Stowe, you can only imagine the spectacular view! Food and Wine selections is very good. Service is superb. The only down side is that if you are not skiing it will cost you $25.00 for a ride up the mountain in the Ski lift. Other than that expect great food and service. The house... More
