Wow, my family enjoyed the best hamburgers in town and possibility the state! The staff was great, the food delicious and in a small well kept & clean atmosphere. This is a mus stop for an excellent Lunch or fast Dinner!

Located in a small shack on the Mountain Road in Stowe, the Blue Donkey could be easy to miss. Don't...the prices are extremely reasonable for a tourist town that the food is top notch! Specialty burgers, chicken wraps, hand cut fries and onion rings that are the best we've tasted in a long time. The creemees are great too! Fun... More

Not usually our kind of place, but it looked neat driving by so we stopped. You know the place, order at the counter, get a seat somewhere and they bring it to you. Very casual, burgers were good, fries were great, wait time was not too long. Overall experience just so-so. Pretty pricey considering the level of service. Two burgers... More

We stopped by after going to the car show. The place were dirty, the waitstaff did not clean the tables or floor properly. We both had the Blue Donkey burger but I asked for well done which it wasn't. Food was greasy. $10.95 for a burger which was expensive.

Pleasant service, nice setting and a good burger and wrap. After picking my daughter up from camp at the Round Hearth Lodge we stopped at the Blue Donkey for lunch before heading back to CT.Service could have been a little quicker but it was fine and the food was good and the atmosphere pleasant. I will be going back the... More

Homemade & delicious! A bit of a wait to receive your order but well worth it. Highly recommend. Super casual and very small place but fabulous food.

Stopped here after a day of hiking, kayaking with our boys. We wanted something simple, we wanted to eat outdoors, the kids wanted creemes for dessert and the Blue Donkey fit the bill. We all ordered the veggie burgers which were delicious with very fresh rolls. The hand cut fries were ok. My son's fries were pretty overdone. The veggie... More

My family of 4 visited this location on July 30th. Our experience is similar to others. The outdoor setting was nice given the pleasant weather conditions. We were received without greeting and paid $54 for 2 kids meals, two hamburgers and three drinks. The food was average and over priced. I guess you pay extra for a "thank you," as... More

Burgers were very good (family of 4) and they came out fast and hot. Only item i did not like was that they charged $2.75 for their homemade chips. Really just another form of a french fry. I would get the regular fries next time i go
