great burgers, great price!!

Al's serves a delicious burger with a great selection of toppings, and tasty homemade French fries, and coke. The service is friendly and quick, and the food very tasty! It reminds me of the old fashioned hamburger joints of yesteryear! Al's is a must stop and we stop every time we make a trip to... read more

Our kids love this place, good and basic burger and fries in small portion, you won't walk out the place feel over eat....This place is always busy but line moves very quickly, so don't hesitate if there is a big line over the weekend, it won't take long to get foods. Good ice cream place during summer time. This is... More

Not sure what all the 'fuss' is about Al's French Frys. We ate here expecting some top notch food (well, for Fast Food anyway) and got only very average. I'll say I DO like the Frys...but I had a steak sandwich, nothing special at all, and my friend had the fried chicken which appeared totally over cooked. You could tell... More

To me this is pure Americana. It's 10:30PM and you need to eat; pull in and get in line with all the local kids for some fantastic traditional fast food in an environment that harks back to the 50s.

This is a retro 50's style restaurant. You order your food, pay for it, then wait at a counter while they prepare it and add condiments. The burger patties were extremely small in size, however the namesake fries were in abundance. The booths are small too. The place was quite clean. The meal preparation is a bottleneck, so there can... More

Background: Al's is a local institution known for its French Frys. We've been eating French Frys (and burgers) here for 20+ years. In the summer time, the line can be out the door waiting to order. But no worries, the line moves quickly. Don't forget the vinegar for the frys! And it's always fun to order a soft serve creemee... More

This is like stepping back a few decades & really getting a taste of the past. Burgers and fries are so like those I grew up with in the 1960's - what a treat. Atmosphere very much like that. Help is polite & helpful. Overall, a pleasant luncheon experience.
