Good food, dramatic ambiance, too noisy

I visited here on Christmas Day with my extended family. The food was very good, and prepared right in front of us, for a dramatic touch. Unfortunately, the noise level, like many restaurants, was too high especially for my elderly father's ears.

We wnt to this restaurant having in mind that we would enjoy fine asian cuisine. But expensive and just ok would have been the good word. We wanted a standard table and not a group table with a chef. Restaurant was not very crowed and they sat us in the end of the restaurant. I had to move my chair... More

I would categorize this experience as very average. Sushi was a feature for my kids and a friend. By all accounts it was very tasty and enjoyed by all. I had the chicken teriyaki and it was average, but a decent portion. Miso soup was very bland and offered little taste. My in-laws both had a Hibachi dinner and felt... More

The sushi was edible, but the rice and nori were just not very good. That's what makes or breaks good sushi in many cases, and our sushi and rolls tasted like midwestern state mall quality - something you'd expect from a sushi chef who was definitely not Japanese. The chicken teriyaki appetizer was rubbery and basically inedible. I also tasted... More

I haven't had a meal I didn't like. The cooks at the table have a good sense of humor and want the customers to leave having a great experience.

We go here regularly for lunch in the summer. The food is always fresh and yummy. We've never done the hibachi grill here, but I love the sushi and they have the best Miso Soup I've ever had. Service is great and we love our favorite waiter, Terry!

This was my first experience with hibachi but I was very impressed. The cook was very polite and it's incredible what they can do. It's nice to see them cook right in front of you and throw food in your mouth. We look forward to going back!

Went to Koto for lunch because I haven't had a Japanese lunch in ages. Their "lunch box" lunch is wonderful. For a total bill of $14.00 and some change, I had iced tea, a small bowl of delicious soup, a pot of hot green Japanese tea, a salad, and a box lunch in a lacquer tray that consisted of teriyaki...
