Tried a few rolls, some variations on tempura, sake, and scorpio bowls. Everything was pretty good. Tons of people and kids running around everywhere but nice to sit at the bar where there were few people and just relax.

We've eaten here dozens of times - the menu has many great options - we like the hibachi (ask for the outer room as the inner room tends to get the inferior chefs (they vary widely - some are GREAT, some mediocre) and the atmosphere isn't as nice) but also eat at the bar and the restaurant. Their best dishes... More

Food was average but the hibachi dinner was fun. Packed because it was 1 of 2 places open in Burlington Christmas eve, and overpriced. But the real fun was in dining with family Christmas eve.

I wish I could give negative stars to the restaurant in Burlington,Vt. Ugh, I had been to one previous and raved about it to my family. So for our Christmas dinner this year we decided to try the burlington location. What a mistake that was.............. For almost ten adults there was maybe three cups of terrible rice. Meals were all... More

I have always loved Koto, their lunch prices are certainly better than that of dinner and the portions are still enough to satisfy. The bento box is always a great choice, but the scallops will change your life! If you have time sit at the hibachi grill, you will not be disappointed.

We chose the hibachi (show). We were seated in a back room which was VERY hot and didn't suit the atmosphere of the restaurant. So if (and when...because you need reservations) you make reservations make sure you ask for the outer room....not the back rooms. Our chef was late getting to our meal and didn't give us a full show.... More

They closed at 230 pm but we were ok at 2pm. Excellent miso soup and hibachi. Nice decoration and service. Restroom was a bit smelly and prices a bit higher than what we are used to.

I selected my favorite dish and it was the best I have had in the US. The dressing for the salad was delicious. I have never had at another similar place. Service was excellent and so was the atmospher. Others at the resturant were locals and very sociable. We enjoyed our visit. The only thing missed was Ashii beer.

It has been years since our last visit to Koto and we left wondering why we hadn't been back sooner. The entire experience was near perfect. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chef was appropriately hokey, and our server was friendly if a bit overwhelmed. The hibachi meal is a bit pricy, but worth every penny. We will definitely go... More

This is a place to get a delicious and reasonably priced meal. One drawback, no kids menu, but the waitress suggested a chicken nugget type of meal which kids usually like. My youngest did enjoy watching the huge goldfish in the "pond" they have. If you enjoy trying different kinds of ethnic food this will satisfy you.
