Great menu and a great salad bar. The only negative is the loud swing band music that can interfere with conversations, depending upon where you are sitting.

While no one in the northeast can hold a candle to salad bars in the south, the salad bar at the Windjammer Restaurant will do nicely if you don't have time to drive south of the Mason-Dixon Line. They have a good French Onion Soup too. Prices are very pricey so don't be surprised when you get the menu. The... More

Every trip to Burlington has us eating at The Windjammer. It's a long-time favorite. The menu has a good selection of steaks and seafood and there are many gluten free choices. They also have a wonderful salad bar which is becoming pretty rare these days. I've never had a bad meal here.

The Windjammer is a very average restaurant. The salad bar was good and had nice local cheeses. The entrees were nothing special. I had salmon and it wasn't imaginative-- fairly bland. It was very busy, which was good to see. The wait staff were all very friendly.

Thought we would finally beat the crowd and get a seat after lunch and before dinner, and the place was really busy. There is a good reason. First, the atmosphere is comfortable and classy. Second, our server was very pleasant and accommodating. Third, the food was often a slight unique twist on an old favorite and our dishes were tasty.... More

My family ate here during a short trip in March. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service, the food and the temperature of the room. It was down-right freezing and I was shaking. My son had to put a sweater on. I know it was well below zero outside and unseasonably cold, but there was no excuse for not sufficiently... More

Please accept our apologies for your less than satisfactory experience at the Windjammer. We truly care about our guests and are always seeking to make improvements based on the feedback that we receive. On your visit, our team should have recognized that the temperature of the room was less than ideal. At that time we could have very easily made... More

I do not get to the Burlington area often but I am very glad I returned for another visit to the Windjammer. Service was friendly and efficient with a great selection of beers available. We had the Turkey Rueben and the Windjammer Dip. Both were delicious and delivered quickly for our late lunch. Next time, I will not wait so... More

Went with a group of 6. No reservation during lunch. The staff helped find a comfortable place for our group to have discussion during lunch and we weren't rushed out even as lunch service closed. Salad boat is fantastic.

It is not often that my wife and I go out but when we do we like to put ourselves in some type of local atmosphere. The Windjammer hit all the marks. Although it was quite busy and our server had many tables to serve, she managed to stay on top of our needs quite well. I would highly recommend... More

Beers are great & that is where good ended. Server Nicole is rude with attitude from beginning, actually tried "teaching" me (nice word for fighting with the customer to prove she was right) & the manager Stewart was just cocky when we spoke to him, along with a smug smile on his face. The servers were all in corner laughing... More

Please accept our sincerest apologies for your less than satisfactory experience at the Upper Deck pub last evening. We strive to provide food and service that exceeds our guests expectations, and it is clear that we fell short of this in many ways. We take great pride in our hospitality initiatives and reading your review is very disheartening. It is... More
