Good with a varied menu

We happened across Dylan's on a ride through the area. Wide range of choices, a great peel & eat shrimp appetizer and excellent burgers and salads. It was clearly fresh ingredients, not the frozen stuff the chains serve up. Would recommend!

My wife and I visited Dylan's cafe recently. I ordered the crab melt. The very first bite, I knew something wasn't right. The taste was off and far too fishy for crab. I love crab and know what it should taste like. This wasn't it. I know now that this is the sign that I need to communicate to the... More

A simple request of moving two tables together on the patio was too much for this management team to handle. We had a party of 7 and requested to move 2 tables for 4 together. They said they couldn't do that. Well we took that to mean they couldn't so we occupied the the 2 tables and then slid them... More

We stopped here at random along our route, and it was one of the best meals of the trip. I forget what it was called, but we both had an open-faced crab sandwich with avocado and mango on it. Service was good; they were even nice enough to put some water in a to-go cup for me so I could... More

We were traveling through Saint Johnsbury last night at dinner time and starving as we hadn't eaten any lunch. Dylan's was recommended to us by some local women and we are thankful that they did. At first I was reluctant to stop because it is located in an old Post Office and it did not look at all inviting from... More

I was meeting two relatives in St. J, all of us traveling 90 minutes to get together for the afternoon and I needed to recommend a classy lunch spot. Happy I found Dylan's on Trip Advisor! We were each equally pleased with the pleasant and efficient service, as well as the menu options and our individual lunch choices: lobster roll,... More

Housed in an old post office, don't let the outside appearance influence your decision to dine here. Numerous excellent choices await you inside. Among the items ordered at our table was the French Onion Soup, Dylan's Turkey Sandwich, Raspberry Turkey Wrap and the Field Greens with Goat Cheese Salad. All excellent choices. The salad with the warm panko encrusted Vermont... More

Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It is located in the old post office. Everything from burgers to "designer" sandwiches were offered. I was there with my two grandkids ages 10 months and 2 1/2. The atmosphere accommodated children very well. My 2 1/2 year old grandson loved the 60s music (Grandma liked it... More

Was originally really excited about this restaurant from prior reviews but was a bit disappointed in our lunch. We were the 1st to arrive. So maybe the food was from yesterday's leftovers. The ginger, carrot sweet potato soup was good. The sandwich bread was extremely hard and the quiche was dry and lacked flavor. When mentioned there was not attempt... More
