Very comfortable local place, located in an interesting building, high ceilings, but feels intimate. Local artists work on walls. Menu is varied, food is good. Service friendly.

A friend and I ate lunch at Dylan's Cafe today and it's an experience that I won't repeat. We were seated at an end table where one chair was tight between the table and the person behind with no room to squeeze into the seat. We moved the table a few inches (the person seating us couldn't be bothered) which... More

Best red pepper and Maple soup. Haven't had such a wonderful soup. The spinach and cheese melt sandwich was fabulous and the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were too good. Can't wait to return. And very friendly staff.

Dylan's Cafe is a warm and casual place. It was a perfect Fall day so we ate lunch on the patio. My husband loved the soup so much (Red Pepper with Maple Syrup). he had me research and make it for our holiday dinner. The sandwich and salad we shared were equally as yummy. We also liked that they had... More

We are traveling through and stopped based on Trip Advisor review. This is in an old post office. It's not accessible that I could see for a wheelchair. Stairs are broken and the handrail is loose. The restaurant is clean but the floor is broken up. We ordered salads. A lobster salad on an avocado and a caprese salad. They... More

Our food was good but the service was marginal. We were at the cafe for a late lunch and the servers seemed to be tired and disinterested. The food - French onion soup, sandwich and salads - were satisfactory and certainly better than fast food but the experience was dampened by the waitstaff who seemed to be having an off... More

Great variety on the menu. We had 6 in our party and everyones meal was excellent. Wished we lived closer as it would be a weekly go to. You won't be disappointed.

We dined for lunch at Dylan's, which is in the heart of St. J, in the town's old post office. I had the chicken cashew salad with strawberries and apples. The dressing was a balsamic maple vinaigrette. The presentation was beautiful and just the right amount for a lunch. Would definitely go back to try another salad or wrap. A... More

We were unexpectedly in St. Johnsbury and stopped at Dylan's for lunch. We were able to sit outside on a beautiful October day. The menu was varied and the food very good. The service was also very good. We would recommend this restaurant.

This is a place that takes the food it serves seriously and has excellent service ...more restaurants should have these values...I had the Crabcake sandwich which was excellent and my wife had the Mediterranean wrap which was also excellent...the sweet potato fries were disappointing...must be frozen...but these days frozen from a bag is not good enough ...
