Had the Vermont heritage and the Vermont country breakfast. Both hearty and very good! Staff was attentive and friendly.

Overlooking the Welcome Center in downtown St. Johnsbury, this busy diner produces comfort food. The standout was the fresh lobster roll. Lots of lobster, grilled roll. The warm turkey sandwich was like eating dinner at grandma's. The one who could cook...

Passing through St. Johnsbury we were looking for a place for a light lunch. I had a very good grilled chicken ceaser salad and the misses had potatoes wrapped in bacon. Very yummy.

A great bargain and the food was good and tasty. The French fries were outstanding and the cole slaw very good. Large amount of specials including lobster salad. The also give you an option to bake or fry your fish. Worth the stop.

We stopped here for lunch on a recent trip based on the recommendation of a blogger. I had the Woodsman burger which was excellent. My wife and family had sandwiches which were very good. We all had milkshakes as well which were also very good. I'd recommend this stop to anyone even though it's off the highway a little bit.... More

My wife and I stopped in here on our way to Toronto on August 8 2014 and were sure glad we did. We had been driving all day and were both tired and hungry when we came across this little gem. They were bragging about the famous Woodsman Burger so I tried it and I must admit (I am a... More

My wife and I we traveling from New Brunswick on our way home to Ottawa through the USA. We stopped in town and found this place. We found it to be an average diner. We both ordered the chicken fingers. The portions were huge. We took a bunch home and ate the the next day. Place was clean and service... More

Food was average, we ordered blueberry pancakes, omelets, coffee. Home fried potatoes were too dry. My husband's order was messed up.

Didn't have a great experience when we visited 3 years ago. Hasn't gotten any better. When they get busy, service slows to a crawl and given that there is only one cook who doesn't like to move fast, the food takes forever to come out. And, it is just not worth the wait, sad to say.
