Historic and Delicious

After wandering the quaint Main Street of St. Albans we wanted a restaurant in that same vein. As we stepped over the vintage entrance steps we knew we were in the right atmosphere. The coffered ceiling cemented this belief. Fortunately the food was equally good and a bargain with their 3-course... read more

10 of us ate at Jeffs Maine Seafood on Saturday, November 28th and experienced the worst service at a restaurant in recent memory. Despite our reservation, and the fact that it was not busy at all, we waited 45 minutes to receive our first round of water at the table and had to ask the server to take our order.... More

Our Hotel - La Quinta, recommended Jeff's as a great dining experience to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the moment we left to return to our hotel, the entire experience was excellent. Would highly recommend the Vermont Cheese platter as an appetizer - great gourmet cheeses paired with bread and specialty crackers.... More

We ate here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Selections were a little pricey but I love the idea that they actually recommend a particular type of wine for each entrée. I ordered the seafood stuffed salmon. It was done to perfection. I do not remember the waitress's name but she alone, is a good reason to return. She was attentive,... More

With its farm-to-table sensibility, finding excellent locavore cuisine in Vermont is easy to do. But fresh fish? Well, yes. Vermont is close to Maine, Canada, and Lake Champlain. Jeff's Maine Seafood, in the quaint town of St.Albans, offers options from all of those places. Its eclectic decor has elements of turn-of-the century elegance combined with edgy industrial touches. Local photographs... More

Located in the center of St. Albans, Jeff's is a classic place to dine. Try the grilled prime rib. It's is awesome.

Stopped in after a show in Taylor park... It was around 830 on a Friday evening! We just wanted to get an appetizer. Place was fairly crowded, but we got seated after a few minutes. Service was a bit slow... Then, when we started to order, they were out of the Coconut Shrimp. Waited again once we decided what we... More

This is a beautiful restaurant! The waitresses are very friendly, and especially Lee the waiter/host! Very professional, and very attentive! The food is fabulous, "Maine" right on Main Street in St. Albans!

We visited early evening on a Friday the interior did show some wear but the live music was enjoyable without being obtrusive. The service was adequate with the star of the evening being the seafood Alfredo which had a nice balance of the various ingredients. The patrons were dressed casually and prices were moderate.

A place to go whether a special occasion or just a nice meal. Prices are a little high but worth it. This is a place to go if you want upscale food. Plate presentation is excellent. Staff is excellent and aim to please. They have a nice wine and beer list and have a sit down bar for those that... More
