Nice Dining

We had lunch here on April 14, 2015 It was lunch time and the restaurant was busy. We were seated by a sunny window and was quickly served. My husband and I ordered the fish soup and shared a pannini . The soup could have been a bit warmer, but the pannini was good with French fries sprinkled... read more

The service is slow the food is good. Had a Cesar salad a there was so much garlic in the dressing I could not eat it...and I love garlic. It took 30 minutes to get our salads. It took 10 minutes to take our drink order. Going in on a Tuesday night with 2 tables of 3 in when we... More

We had been traveling through Vermont and we're ready for a great meal. We found one at Jeffs seafood. The service was fast and attentive even with some very large parties dining at the same time. My husband had the lobster plate and greatly enjoyed it. I had the fixe prix menu and it was a great value for a... More

I took a date out to dinner here. I grew up for part o my life on the Cape. It takes a lot to impress me in the form of good seafood. Jeff's was good, though the prices are stupidly high. The meal came to over $70 for two people. I would rather drive to Burlington and visit the Shanty,... More

If you are in the St. Albans area you'll want to try Jeff's Main Seafood. Great fish meals and great atmosphere. Great wait-staff. The place if you like fish. Give it a try.

We were 4 for dinner.I ordered a Manhatten and the waitress asked me "what's in that" I I wasn't sure but suggested that the bartender should know. The drink came and she said "you better try this to make sure it's right". I ordered fish that was poorly prepared and presented and looked absolutely gray, the salad was limp with... More

Still our favorite St Albans Restaurant. Great food, service and a good deal for the money too! I had the swordfish and my wife had the pecan crusted salmon.

All three of us had wonderful meals. Mine was the sesame seed encrusted seared tuna with wasabi, my companions had baked haddock and the pecan encrusted salmon. Each came with a salad and one side. The prix fix (available from 4:30-6) is a steal--add coffee and an incredible dessert to the entree and sides for only $20. Molten Maple cake... More

The name has changed to show they are more than just seafood, but really their seafood is still the way to go. The specials are usually pretty good and the atmosphere is good. Just get here early. They tend to run out of a lot of things and they like to close early.
