A pleasant evening at a popular local spot.

This restaurant was recommended by the hosts at our bed and breakfast and we were not disappointed. We especially liked the green bean slammer appetizer. Our salmon special was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The meatloaf was delicious and a generous portion. Service was attentive and prompt... read more

Our 2nd time at this fine restaurant . Most unusual meat and seafood dishes. I had the Chicken Roularde , which is chicken braised with honey and stuffed with apples and bacon then sliced. Really good but the Kale stewed veggies were soggy and tasteless . The portions were all generous so dessert was out of the question. Then ,... More

Hadn't been here in a couple years because we remembered it being very noisy in the dining room and the food being adequate but pricey. On recent visit found it much the same. I would have given it an slightly higher rating if the prices were a little bit more in line with the average experience.

Had heard about One Fed from a number of sources and my wife and I decided to give it a try for lunch. The restaurant has plenty of old time charm, but if you are used to shiny chrome and pretty floors this may not be your cup of tea. We ordered the Vermonter Burger and it was an excellent... More

Had a delicious salmon salad with wilted spinach for dinner at One Federal. The food was reasonably priced and came with an awesome viniagrette dressing including onions and bacon bits. That salmon was perfectly cooked- with a nice crisp around the edges and tender on the inside. The flavors blended perfectly. Great food!

I had heard a lot of good things about this place. It was supposed to be this affordable yet swank spot in the shire of St. Albans. There is not much in the way of posh places in this area, so I took my wife there for a romantic anniversary dinner. It was terrible. The portions were very small while... More

Just returned from our belly busting dinner. So yummy could not stop eating! For appetizers we had nachos with pork and sweet potato fritters. The portion of nachos was huge and four people could not finish it. The pasta with artichokes and marinara was quite good with enough left over for lunch. Most entrees were garnished with thin ribbons of... More
