we were happy with our meals and happy that the waitress and kitchen staff made me a nice lunch that was gluten free. I felt safe about that. but, it was cold inside the place and it did feel dingy inside. otherwise, fresh good food. husband got the garlic fries.

We've been here several times since Kelvans opened, and have always enjoyed the interesting menu items and great service. We visited again this week for lunch and tried a couple of the newer items. We were a little apprehensive when we came in to see a big table of 10-12 women there for a birthday party, but we needn't have... More

Dinner in downtown. I thought the interior was cute and cozy. Good for couples wanting to get out but enjoy somewhat private dining. Service was very good, prices are reasonable. Out of the four dinners, 3 were very good, 1 just slightly below average. So if you looking for a nice spot, moderately priced I would give it a try.

Ate here last night and enjoyed a very good meal. The Mac and Cheese special was delicious. The portion was perfect! Our waitress was kind and efficient. The owner even stopped over to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. It was. Very pleasant experience.

Downtown seemed a little empty after 6 PM. Most of the shops closed so there was plenty of street parking. We came here as it got decent yelp reviews. The waitresses were friendly and told us to order quickly before a big party put in their order. We had the kelvin chicken burger, fish chimichanga, French onion soup, and homemade... More

We tried this restaurant due to so many of our friends loving it. We were placed at a high top table near the bar and it was incredibly noisy and kind of cold. We could barely talk to one another because the folks at the bar were extremely loud and the kitchen was on the other side of the wall... More

I've been here twice for lunch and both times was disappointed. I used to frequent the restaurant under previous ownership and I really wanted to like it. But after 2 lunches, the inside is dingy and the food is mediocre. Nothing great about it. Today there were 2 fruit flies harassing us throughout the entire lunch. The iced tea was... More

Our stop to Rutland, Vermont was in conjunction with a train ride with Green Mountain Railroad leaving from Bellows Falls, Vt.. On the train ride up we stop for an hour and a half in Rutland for the October's Farmers Market, local restaurants and shopping. We decided on Kelvan's Restaurant as my wife and I were touring the city. We... More
