My wife and I and another couple stopped here on our way from Virginia to Stowe. We found the food to be both plentiful and tasty. They have a large menu. Waitresses were very friendly ad helpful. Highly recommended for lunch, and the prices were reasonable.

Just off route 7 in Rutland, The Midway Diner, serves both the local citizens and the passing traveler. The service was pleasant and efficient and the scrambled eggs were fresh.

A local place with super friendly waitresses. They were very efficient and quick knowing we were on our way to the mountain to ski. Breakfast was basic diner food. Everything was served hot and exactly as we ordered it.

The Midway has been around for as long as I can remember. Originaly it was located in a true stainless steel trailer type diner. When they decided to expand they towed the old trailer out (ist was beginning to show it's age) and built a new building on the site. It had been THE place to go after a night... More

This is definitely not extraordinary diner food. The service was friendly and efficient. My biggest complaint is that I was charged $.75 for a slice on onion on my cheeseburger - come on - that's a total ripoff and would keep me from ever coming back!

Surly waitress. Slow service or no service. Food was more than we paid for dinner at places. McDonalds would have been a better choice, seriously! Really wanted good diner food but this is not the place.

Stopped in for a belgian waffle... had to carry it up the street to my apt. I was smelling the vanilla all the way home. Well worth the wait and the pattie sausage was great also.. Side note: Love their coffee too. Thanks Midway, you are awesome!!
