Great lunch place on Rt. 100

Driving along Rt. 100 on a Sunday looking for a unique lunch place and found it in Rochester. Small crowd for a late lunch and the local feeling was super. Service was great, food was great and the prices were pretty good. I can imagine it's crowded in ski season but well worth the stop regardless.

Exactly everything you want out of a small town Vermont cafe. Super fresh ingredients, top notch coffee, and excellent pastries. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, interesting artwork, and friendly service. Hope we get the chance to have breakfast here sometime, the menu looked fantastic.

We backcountry skied all day and drove into town and had a meal to fill us up to the brim. Very friendly staff, great soups, great burger, wonderful salad...and I can NOT wait to come back in the morning for their fresh baked crescents...and everything else they bake homemade...YUM!

Breakfast here Oct 1st. A delicious classic country breakfast in a wonderful old-style café. The best coffee of our 10-day New England road trip! Eggs scrambled with Vermont white cheddar cheese—yummy! Pancakes with real Vermont maple syrup – pancakes do not get better than this. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and found it quite enjoyable. We were the only... More

WONDERFUL food. And next door, a sweet little store to buy fun memories of your trip to Vermont. Also, great ice cream. Be sure to stop here!

I stopped into the Rochester Cafe for a beverage to-go on a solo road trip a few weeks ago. I ordered an iced dirty chai, which while being tasty, was served in a hot beverage container--super bizarre. It was also over-priced, but I expected that. However, I did not expect the staff to be as unfriendly as they were. Neither... More

We apologize for your unpleasant experience for your take out Chai. We have been in the service business for over 23 years and strive to make every customers experience a good one. We do experience our busiest time during fall foliage. We strive do do our best during this seasonal heavy volume. Once again I do apologize. More

We have a small cabin a few miles south on Route 100. We love to start our day with breakfast at the Rochester Cafe. The food is excellently prepared from local eggs and cheese and pancakes are accompanied by real Vermont maple syrup. The service is attentive and very friendly. If you are a "breakfastaholic" you need to keep this... More

Good food, good service, nothing fancy. I had an excellent salad and my wife, Debby, had 1/2 sandwich and soup. All was good. Little store attached with candy & other nick-hacks.
