Very romantic and accommodating.

Unfortunately came on a day when it was pouring rain so we didn't get to fully take in the gorgeous views over the river and the waterfall, but could still appreciate the beauty. The restaurant has really lovely decor and our lunch was fantastic. The cheese plate was delicious, as well as the brussel sprout salad that I got and... More

We went here as guests from some who lives in the area and we had no expectations. It was truly an enjoyable experience. Not only did we see glass blowing but had a fantastictic lunch too. The glass blowing was in the basement. There were seats around the fenced in area so people could sit and watch was being made... More

You enter a dining room perched atop of a frozen waterfall. Your brain tells you it's the 21st century yet you could easily imagine you are in a time from the past as you gaze upon all the beautiful scenery outside the expansive windows of the dining room. We enjoyed wonderful soups, salads and breads. All food was very fresh,... More

I hesitated to write this review because I didn't want to focus on the negative. My husband chose Simon Pearce for my birthday dinner. He made a reservation, stating the occasion, and asked for a table in the porch section. He was told to arrive at a certain time because there was a better chance at getting a nice table.... More

Went to Simon Pearce for lunch, and loved the view, service and food! Great Vt beer, crisp wine, cheese plate and calamari. This is our third visit, and won't be our last.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Simon Pearce from browsing the store, watching the artisans make the glasses used in the restaurant and settling down to a wonderful inspired dinner. Our servers were attentive but not overbearing. They made wonderful suggestions and helped us celebrate our anniversary, with candles on our desserts. I deferred to our server to recommend a... First of all, would like to thank the person who is responsible for honoring dining requests: when making our reservation, I asked for a "romantic table with a nice view." When seated, it was clear we had the best table in the place -- literally seated right over the crest of the falls. Spectacular! Overall, food and ambiance were lovely.... More

A pleasure to have dinner without the crowds. Highly recommend the sea scallops. Take your time and look at the complete wine list. Many wonderful wines at fair prices. The wait staff is the best - wish the management staff was of the same caliber.

This place never fails! The usual dishes are heavenly and new additions are impressive. The staff is of caliber we use to measure perfection compared to other restaurants. After multiple visits we will be back every year.
