Only been in warmer months when the deck was open. Food was good and they two good craft beers on tap. Would go back for a second try.

We ate at a table across from the bar, and ordered a Panini Bianco and Fish & Chips. It was a little pricey, but very good. We also enjoyed a local beer on tap. The parking is very good, and the location is convenient to the Quechee Gorge.

Visiting with family (decent sized group). Enjoyed the rustic, darker environment. 4 lunches ordered, rear of group shared flat bread pizzas, meaty/tasty wings and a few salads. Food was good (especially the wings) but felt pricing was high for a lunch menu.

We stopped in for lunch-and the place seemed awfully full of tourists (rather than locals). That is normally a bad sign--but it was fine. Nothing more , or less, but we had burgers that were made from locally sourced ingredients, which is a big plus. The place is a little run-down, but there is plenty of parking and it looks... More

Within five minutes driving from our summer residence, this has been and still is our "default" eating place in Quechee. Nothing pretentious but its Adirondack style ambiance makes it a comfortable place, for us mostly over lunch. Yes, as some say some areas could benefit from an updated look but then it would no longer be the same. While we... More

I have known this restaurant for over 15 years, when it was Firestones. It used to have an all right menu, decent drinks and a lively bar scene. However, throughout the years, it became known locally for its filth as much as anything. Slowly, locals stopped going and it relied on the tourist trade. It seems even they have gotten... More

So my husband and I decided to try this place for lunch even though people had told us the night before that Shepard's Pie Restaurant was way better (see my review on that one). The outside does look a bit tired but the inside really wasn't bad at all. Couple outdated things but mostly furniture made out of tree limbs,... More

We sat at the bar. I would agree with another reviewer that the place needs an overhaul yet the food was really excellent. We had a beautiful chicken and beef dish respectively and both were as good as any downtown Boston restaurant. Local kids at the bar with not enough to do dampened the ambience but we would give it... More

Our entire group enjoyed the food here. The drink menu and beer selection gave us a lot to think about and the server was quite helpful in explaining it all. We sat on the patio, which was quite pleasant. When the server was busy, other staff stepped in to make sure we had what we needed. Overall, a good experience.

We planned to have lunch yesterday at a different restaurant but it was closed. This was right next door sow e had lunch here. Cannot say enough about the delicious food. Perfect veggie panini, and my husband thought the burger was excellent. French fries homemade and not at all greasy!! Bad atmosphere, dark, needs to be spruced up & have a... More
