Good for Special Events and for Cross-Country Skiing

Have visited this club on a number of occasions over the years for cross-country skiing in the winter and also some time ago for a food tasting event, Chefs of the Upper Valley, a fundraiser for the Upper Valley Haven, the homeless shelter in nearby White River Junction, VT. The facilities of... read more

The quality of the club's food offerings is totally in a state of dismay. To be honest, I was expecting a change for the better considering the hiring of a new chef and general manager, but in my opinion things have gone from bad to worse. It's true that the staff and management seem to just not care about customer... More

My wife and I attended a seafood dinner at the clubhouse a few weeks back and I must say the food was terrible. Once we finished our meal the sickness started to hit her. I will leave out the specifics of what she went through but she obviously had been food poisoned

Unfortunately, as far as the clubhouse goes, the management has really taken a nose dive. Upon the given the chance to come back for another event I would strongly consider other options in the upper valley. Years ago this was not the case. You can tell the staff doesen't care and this is a direct reflection of mismanagement.

We have been members at the club for over ten years. During the week of February vacation we attended a dinner at the clubhouse and I must say my entire family was disgusted with the quality of the food. The new general manager seems to be dropping the ball in terms of who he hires under him. His assistant manager... More

With a new chef and new management on board, the food at the Quechee Club has much improved over the last two summer seasons we spent in Vermont. While there are many other very good restaurants in Quechee and nearby Woodstock and Hanover, the Club clearly beats any other with its location on a sunny blue-sky day. And this is... More

This review is only about the outdoor deck dining that we enjoyed last week. Our Woodstock swim team had a meet at the Quechee Club pool and afterward, we could partake of a slightly discounted meal on the outside deck. The setting is terrific with great views over the club grounds, across the river and into some woods, etc. Our... More

Have done lunch a few times and always fine, nothing special. Nice views from the deck and wait staff are friendly, if not terribly efficient but we were never in a hurry so no big deal. Lots of lobster in the lobster rolls this year!

We sat on the deck overlooking the golf course on a lovely evening. Service was reasonably okay—the waitress did forget my soup (which turned out to be a blessing): a lobster salad topped with nicely seasoned avocado (an appetizer turned into a dinner) was excellent. Our friends variously had grilled fish and fish and home-made chips which they pronounced quite... More

Though the menu is very limited, there is enough to satisfy any discerning palette. As I enjoyed my risotto with fresh roasted seasonal vegetables, my husband sank his teeth into a 24 ounce piece of juice dripping prime rib. Each entree is served with a generous side salad and warm crunchy slices of French baguette. The service would rival any... More
