My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Basketville. Greeting was very friendly. The omelet and the French toast we had were both very good. Service was very good. If you want a good, reasonably priced breakfast and you are in the Putney area, stop in...you won't be disappointed.

I was passing through Vermont and stopped at the Putney diner and was extremely disappointed. I seated myself and waited 10 minutes to get the waitress's attention, get a menu and order a beverage. The waitress was very rude with me and didn't seem to know the menu well, she couldn't answer any of my questions. When I finally got... More

with a homestyle breakfast! Small and comfortable, excellent service. Fresh breakfast prepared quickly and served up hot. A must if visiting the area.

Found this place while driving thru Vermont to go skiing. Was crowded, and had to wait a little bit to be seated, served etc. Waitress was very pleasant . Food was very good, would stop there again if passing by.

This was a convenient stop off 91 while driving from Vermont to New York. We were very surprised at how good the breakfast was. I had a cheese omlette with excellent home fries and bacon. My husband had a breakfast burrito with (apparently) very spicy sausage. Great service and decent coffee. We would definitely stop here again. My only complaint... More

Stopped here for breakfast based on reviews. We were not disappointed. Good wholesome food, plenty of it and a wonderful, fun and friendly waitress. Highly recommend if you're tired of high priced fancy breakfast food.

Have visited now on two occasions in Putney. Service a bit slow but food is great and the prices economical. Great bang for the buck. Skipping hotel buffet tomorrow so we can again enjoy the excellent French toast. Don't miss for breakfast or lunch when in or phasing through Putney.

Three minutes from the exit. Real food-real people-real nice. Ask about the soups of the day. Don't expect Beef Wellington or Lobster Thermidor, but do expect superb down home Vermont food.

We used to go to this restaurant and enjoyed the local style and good food. Cute local place...but after years the Restaurant is in need of a painting and general cleaning/updating. Vermont cheap and run down is no longer adds to the "atmosphere" very cheap ingredients were used and prices were high considering the quality. Awful grease taste after and... More
