After spending a few days in neighboring Ludlow and after sampling some local gems for breakfast such as Cafe at Delight we decided to try this restaurant for our last local breakfast in Vermont. We found Vermont Apple Pies on a computer print out ad dropped off at our hotel. We thought it looked adorable and inviting. We pulled up... More

$26 for an apple pie? The prices are not listed anywhere! I ordered 2 apple pies to go and handed the man my card. I never imaged paying $52 for 2 pies! Yes they were good, but it's apples, flour and a few other ingredients. I'm not seeing the $26 bucks. I wouldn't go back. I can buy a bushel... More

This is a charming place, with wonderful service, huge portions, and delicious food. This is a true gem. Well worth it. It's also great for kids. The menu has something for everyone.

The food was ok but I almost fell off my seat when the bill came to $89 for a family of four! We really didnt eat that much! Also, the total included tip but it was not made clear on the bill. Not going back.

This is definitely a tourist trap restaurant.I mean by that that the menu looks very creative with exorbitant prices to go with them. First thing the customer service from the owner/waiter was lacking as he was disinterested in the patrons . Secondly I got the chicken and waffles..and I made sure to ask him if it was fried chicken and... More

Got a $12 Ciabatta scramble. Came with a three egg omelet wrapped around cheddar cheese (to die for). Sat on a bed of spinachand fresh tomatos. On the side was a lemon, large strawberry all set in homemade whipped cream. Every bite was heaven.

If you're anywhere in the vicinity of Proctorsville, Ludlow, etc. you need to go here and experience the amazing breakfast and homemade pies. We stop in every time we're in Vermont and if we don't have time to stay, we grab a pie of choice to bring back to CT with us. Highly recommended!!

Whooping good food, piled high. Basically like going over to your aunt's house for breakfast if your aunt has been tied to a Vermont oven all her life. Best home fries every, chunky, crispy and spiced on the outside, mushy and hot on the inside on the inside. You can try to be good there like ordering veggie scramble, but... More

I know good food. I've traveled to many places and had good food. When I find a family owned restaurant, nestled in a Vermont valley, that is sparkling clean, serves unique items, I take the time to stop and enjoy. I also love to travel in between seasons since I don't like tourists that don't respect the locals, and all... More

I am a huge fan of breakfast and this place did not disappoint! They had an extensive menu considering it is breakfast food, every kind of pancake/waffle you can think of! I had the chocolate chip banana waffles! They were VERY good. The atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. Definitely had a country Vermont charm to it! The service was... More
