Do not be fooled by the cozy down home look of this place! it is a total rip off! You will wait in line 1hr. plus then be seated and wait another 20 min or so to get coffee. Prices are outrageous! after waiting we final left. owner /server couldn't care less very strange man. I think he is too... More

We've been coming to the Okemo area for 20+ years and we have never been here. Stopped in for breakfast and sweet baby ducks was it amazing! The Apple Crisp Waffle was quite possibly the best breakfast waffle I have ever had. A single waffle topped with warm apple crisp, apple slices, cinnamon, and homemade whipped cream. Don't worry about... More

Charming small place. The food was excellent, fresh and innovative. Service was attentive and anticipated requests. Large portions.

My wife and I went searching for some coffee, some atmosphere and a bite in the morning. Vermont apple pie was a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting to eat a big breakfast but apple crisp waffles?? How do you not indulge? Great place. Highly recommended.

The breakfasts here are like no other I have ever experienced. The waffles with their many, many combos to their omlettes are unbelievable. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS. Some of their items are pricier, but so totally worth it. We went here two days in a row when we stayed 2 nights here. I would have gone a 3rd day... More

I live in Rutland and every chance I get I come here for the Amazing Cinnamon Pancakes. Everything the James family makes here is from scratch and DELICIOUS. I have a hard time choosing anything new because the Cinnamon pancakes make IHOP look like they were pulled from a dumpster. If you're staying at any of the lodges like Okemo,... More

Interesting location (yes, keeping going down the driveway), not handicap accessible, and a rather gruff host could not take away from the fact that breakfast was amazing. Biscuits and gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, and spicy home fries with a little kick. This is the kind of food you want to keep eating even though you don't have room for another... More

We went for breakfast, and the food was fantastic... however, the service was mediocre at best. The owner was the server, and his personality was gruff, and he was less than attentive, considering we were the only ones there. I'm not sure if I'd go back.

Ambiance - quiet Staff - friendly and prompt service Food - Exceptional!!! They do not put out a color brochure that you will find in the cubby holes or on the table of Vermont accomodations. The volunteer at the visitors center hands you a paper flyer, winks at you and says "you should go here". Believe them.
