My wife and I enjoyed breakfast here in late July. The atmosphere was country and comfortable. The food presentation was excellent and food was delicious. If you are looking for diner food, this is not the place. The serve large portions and make and effort to make the plate look attractive. They do this while remaining very down to earth... More

I brought my 4 children for brunch and we were so amazed by the delicious food and hot chocolate that we brought my husband when he arrived in town two days later. We have been coming here for years to purchase delicious, fresh, home-baked pie, but these were our first dine-in experiences. Charlie and his wife (the chef) are a... More

Yes, I knew it would be expensive but we were still surprised. The place is definitely charming (though I have NO idea why there is a giant flatscreen tv in the middle of all the quaint) and the food was perfectly cooked and lovely presentation. I had the wild blueberry pancakes which were beautiful, fluffy and perfectly done. Hubby just... More

It was unfortunate that when we went for breakfast there was only one man to sit us and wait on us. We had to wait a little while as he had to sit a couple before us and also clear the table. The pancakes and french toast were very good. Both were topped with fresh fruits. The servings were very... More

My wife and I visited this place two years ago. It was the best breakfast we've ever had. Huge portion. Made from scratch with fresh ingredients. It was so good we remember it vividly and looked for it on trip advisor so we could visit again. So good we would go to Vermont just for the breakfast.

Saw a flyer for this place at our hotel and off we went. What a cute place! There was a gentleman who called us to come upstairs and he seated us. Very attentive and friendly. I ordered French toast with blueberries and strawberries...so delish. And it was huge. That did not stop me from eating the whole thing though. They... More

The food was good, especially the buckwheat pancakes, but pricier than we expected. The proprietor was friendly and provided good service.

Thanks to Tripadvisor we found this gem of a restaurant. The breakfast was like being given a special gift. Along with the food being cooked perfectly with the best ingredients, time was taken to make the presentation a piece of art. Great friendly service.

We visited for breakfast and it was such a disappointment. After reading the online reviews, we decided to give it a try. I went in knowing 2 things: 1) it was going to be expensive (it was) and 2) the owner would grouchy (he was). What I didn't know was how disappointed we would be. The cheapest thing on the... More
