Here's the thing you need to understand: this is a restaurant that is literally in the home of the chef/owners. It's small - three small tables and three larger ones. That's it. So yes, you will wait. And yes, the owner is the server and he can't be all places at all times. And the chef is his wife and... More

when we were leaving the Castle after a great weekend, Carmen, the castle concierge recommended us to go to this place to pick up our pies as we were looking for a good local bakery. She was right! these pies are to die for!!! Thank you Carmen for the suggestion!!!

Feasted on waffles for lunch today and they were absolutely delicious!! The portions were beyond huge. We were so stuffed, we didn't have any room for pie! We had to buy a pie and take it home. We'll be back!!

Every time we have been to okemo we love to stop by his place for breakfast. Quality, fresh food. Pancakes and waffles are the best. Worth the wait. Although they could use a busboy to help out on busy weekend mornings, it's a well oiled machine.

This charming restaurant was suggested by our hotel (The Pointe at Castle Hill). We weren't disappointed. The husband takes the orders and he is a very engaging person. His wife is in the kitchen and makes a mean quiche and egg sandwich. The also sell pies and serve lunch as well. A terrific eatery.

What an awful experience! First, we were told that the wait would be 5 to 10 minutes. It was actually closer to 40 minutes before we were seated. That's excusable. Estimating how long a customer will take to finish their meal is not easy. However, when the waiter (owner?) finally did show us to our table, he was extremely rude:... More

My "maple glazed bacon" actually had a sticky maple glaze poured over it. The apple crisp was so good, to die for. But a little apple goes a long way, except for these folks. Get some eggs or you will apple overload! But you might die happy.

We have been going to this restaurant for a few years and they consistently produce one of the best breakfasts that we have had out. They have a wide variety of creative delicious selections. Portions are large--you will not leave hungry. Baked goods are terrific. This is a family home run business that has all the Vermont charm. Make sure... More

A very charming hidden breakfast nook. Quaint setting. Lots of choices but extremely expensive for breakfast. Buyer beware Flavored coffee $5.95. I got the quiche and cornbread. Quiche was basic but the cornbread was excellent. Service was EXTREMELY slow. Breakfast for 2 was $42. Not sure I would return.
