the food in this place is delicious. downfall: the customer service is lacking completely ...the lady behind the counter has no interest in making eye contact or sketch a smile...but the pastries and our sandwiches were great

I went looking for a breakfast to offset the fancy dinner we had the night before and stumbled upon this place. We had a wonderful breakfast, and the coffeehouse vibe was very welcoming. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast burrito was just what the hangover doctor ordered. I think we will go there for lunch too!

This is a very nice breakfast spot: the food is great and the staff pleasant. There is not a huge amount if seating, though, and the staff is used to locals; for example, they did not tell us that drinks were self-serve.

We intended to go to the Vermont apple pie cafe, which was inexplicably closed for the day. Instead we went here for breakfast. My breakfast burrito was more like a grilled cheese, but had quality ingredients; my partner's eggs were nicely done. The atmosphere is homey and relaxed. A good choice,

I first stopped in to the Opera House Cafe a couple years ago, on my way home from one of the nearby ski resorts. I saw a sign for “Vermont Apple Pie” at the side of the road (that, it turns out, was actually a signpost for another nearby business) and inadvertently stumbled into Crows Bakery and Opera House Cafe.... After reading the reviews here and because our hotel was charging $10/pp for a continental breakfast, we ate breakfast at this sweet cafe. It was so good our first morning, we returned the next morning. With a coffee house vibe, and a fairly comprehensive breakfast menu at reasonable prices, it made us happy. It seems to be popular with the... More
