Great place to stop and pick up a bite to eat. I especially enjoyed browsing through all the local Vermont made products while waiting for my meal. The interior is everything you would expect from a Vermont Country Store experience. They even have a wine cellar.

This is about the only store in town. Cute for gifts and very good food. We bought salads to go and it was good.

Stopped in for a snack on a rainy day while touring the countryside. Cool store with lots of character. They seem to have no system for ordering food. Sign says to order here with no one there to help. ??? I wouldn't say it's a must visit, but I would stop by if driving through.

Stopped off here for sandwich, soup and chips lunch pre-made for our bus load of leaf peepers in New England. This store sells one-of-a-kind nostalgic (and some not so nostalgic) products that you would find in a century plus old store. Next door is the owners personal collection of rock n roll memoriable items from early '50's on. Many one... More

I was with a group of 12. We all came to the area to watch or participate in the Spartan Challenge in Killington. After a long day with a mixed group, we decided upon the General Store for a light dinner. Prices were reasonable. Selection great for those who like a healthy choice or those who like burgers or pizza.... More
