My vegetable frittata, with seasoned potatoes and a side of sausage was delicious and satisfying. My husband enjoyed his eggs with bacon, potatoes and toast. The second morning of our Vermont stay, we stopped here for breakfast sandwiches -- they were satisfying and pretty cheap. The store also had a nice selection of beers, ciders and wine as well as... I experienced a subculture here. I witnessed a "Death Race." This is a brutally challenging race where the participants both cooperate and compete with each other for 70 hours. Without sleep. Stopped in for breakfast before a day of cycling and it was terrific. In spite of a packed room (pre-wedding friends) our egg order arrived very quickly and was perfectly cooked and perfectly delicious. Pour-your-own coffee is terrific, too. My only complaint was that I could have had four times the amount of toast, it was that good.

Great place to stop and pick up a bite to eat. I especially enjoyed browsing through all the local Vermont made products while waiting for my meal. The interior is everything you would expect from a Vermont Country Store experience. They even have a wine cellar.
