Staying at Jay Peak and jonesing for my green juice fix. Found it at Newport Natural Market. Great selection of juices freshly made on the spot. Took out for later, homemade soup & a goat cheese, beet & apple salad that was really yummy.

Crossing the border from Canada back into the U.S. and just looking for a place to have lunch. Lucked into the Newport Natural Cafe. Made our day! Gobbler panini was fantastic. Great soups. Relaxed atmosphere. Wish we had this cafe in my town.

Excellent choice of healthy but delicious cooked foods, sandwiches etc.to eat in or take away. Not expensive. Very pleasant staff. The shop attached has lots of local produce, excellent cheeses and other interesting finds. Worth a visit.

This is the 'hang-out' place in Newport for lunch. You get the local flare and healthy food. Speed is not their forte, but good food is. Relax and smell the natural foods.

I think I might not be the market for this place. I get the feeling it's more geared for yuppie tourists and sports enthusiasts who are comfortable with an eight dollar panini without even chips. However, that said, the soup was filling and delicious. The place was scrupulously clean and the staff was cheerful. I had not planned on getting... More

Everyone, including the owners are super nice, all their products are fresh the prices are reasonable considering they have no competition for at least 35b miles. BUT most impressive is that they will special order items for you that come in quickly that is my favorite feature of the store.

The food was tasty and we also picked up sandwiches to take skiing. Beats lodge food hands down. And eating in can feel a bit "unromantic" but it hits the spot after a day on the slopes when all you want to do is crawl in the bath. Also great to have something so healthy and tasty.

Our favorite local restaurant for a quick, healthy meal. On of their best creations is their Thursday's special - turkey meatloaf with apricots, gravy and home-made mashed potatoes - get there early! We love their hearty, creative soups - especially now during the cold Northeast Kingdom winter. They make everything on-site, from scratch. Use locally grown, produced products. Great warm... More

Being a vegetarian proves to be difficult when travelling but boy was I glad I found this place. Food was eclectic and extremely tasty to say the least which was awesome. I highly recommend going if you are in the area and they have plenty of choices for the carnivores of the world as well. The Tempeh Rueben was awesome.... More
