Revisiting a classic

Hadn't been to Rock's in years. Happy to report they still serve the same wonderful and delicious Italian food as always. Large portions insure you go away full, and happy.

We've dined here several tines with a hungry teenage son - and found the all you can eat Friday night Fish Fry to be very good. Typical local tavern atmosphere. Only disappointment was when they had run out of coffee!

We were spending a rainy Sunday night in Newfane and looking for a place to eat nearby. I read the reviews of Rick's Tavern and decided that this would be a good choice in the immediate area. The decor was typical Vermont, lots of wood and down to earth feeling. My husband ordered the turkey dinner and I had the... More

Nice lively bar - hoppin on the nights with wings specials and 25% off pizza. Friendly service in the restaurant.

on the way up to Stratton, the roadside restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but it's worth stopping in. The food is good, the service was pleasant and the prices are very reasonable .

You don't want to be in a hurry when going there, service is kinda slow from kitchen and waitstaff. Food is good.

Brought family from out of town to this restaurant....hadn't been in several years, so we knew we were taking a chance. We had always enjoyed previous experiences, so figured we would enjoy. Food was great, prices were okay, our waitress was not interested in serving us AT ALL. Most of our party took advantage of the Friday night fish fry.... More

Food and service are great here. Hamburgers are delicious as well as the pizza. Some of the other dishes are hit or miss. Very family friendly!

My wife and I were riding around on route 30 in Vermont on a beautiful Saturday afternoon when we got hungry we found Rick's. This is not a fancy place, it is a tavern and looks and feels like a tavern. The food was great. The beer was ice cold. The service was fine. They seem to keep windows and... More
