Sunday morning & the entertainment is free

Recently had Sunday breakfast here after many years away. The line was long, so we accepted to sit with a big family at the front table. The kids were throwing food, and the scene was wild. The VT Governor was eating pancakes at the counter. Of course the breakfast food is the old reliable. Hash... read more

We stopped for breakfast on a Saturday. We each ordered the omelet special. It was good and filled with a lot of vegetables, especially spinach. There was supposed to be cheddar cheese in it, but neither of us noticed it. Instead of the regular toast that came with the special, we each ordered Manghi's bread for $1.20 extra, $2.40 total.... A quick lunch travelling from MY to Ottawa, Ontario: Typical diner food; Stacey, our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was filled with locals and busy. It is located on the corner of East State & Main Street, quite small with booths lining the side of the diner and a large 5+ seating area by the front windows.... More

Busy local dinner on corner of Main & East State. I enjoyed the scam bled eggs and shaved beef covered with Cabot cheddar and hot cup of coffee. Decent prices, good quick service and lots of locals favorite breakfast spot. Well done.

I was impressed with the clam chowder and the service. The cafe is small, but cozy. Our friends had the blueberry pie and couldn't quit talking about it. I need to go back!

We were seated at the counter because the tables were full. The diner is small and crowded, but we enjoyed our lunch. We shared a turkey and avocado sandwich, which was just what we needed.

This is centrally located right in the downtown area and is easily accessible by foot. Can have difficulty parking as there really isn't enough available. Food is good and atmosphere is a little noisy and hectic. Cramped area with not much room but classic style diner. Friendly staff.

This place serves delicious classic American diner food. We had a burger and Greek salad which really hit the spot. My favourite feature though is the trivia quiz at each place setting. More restaurants should have this!

This place was packed and had locals waiting in line to get a seat, which says a lot! The food was good and plentiful!

A really lovely classic diner, with great staff whose service was just excellent. My husband had a Philly cheese steak which he thoroughly enjoyed with a strawberry milk shake that was just second to none - he had so much he had to share it with me - not something he likes to do!!! I just had an apple crumble... More
