Local restaurant and bakery. We had dinner. Bread was home made fresh and delicious. Chicken soup was rich and tasty. Fresh vegetables salad came with maple sauce was perfect. A sirloin steak was made to perfection and was very tender. A Yankee pot roast with brown gravy was excellent. Great... read more

I am a diner junky. Even on a weekday we found a line at this place but it goes very fast. Great menu and great food. Service fast as lightening and very friendly. Filled with tons of local people. I wish they were where we live in Windsor VT. It is right off Interstate 89 so be sure to visit.... More

We went here on recommendation from our hotel and so glad we did. It is very cute and our burgers were really good. The service was also great. We went back in the morning for breakfast and loved it too.

The Wayside is my go-to place for a quick sit down meal. Not expensive, nothing fancy just good comfort food. Great place for a full breakfast!!

Its always a good thing to check out where the locals eat.. We were given this place to go eat by someone from Vermont. And we enjoyed our eat there. Staff was friendly. I just got a classic burger which I was craving a numerous days, and liked it simple,

The food isn't hearty or made with 'love' like it used to be. Stuff shows up at the table already cold. It's a disappointment for people who have enjoyed being loyal for so many years.

We stopped in for what we hoped to be a nice lunch. After seating ourselves according to instructions on the sign at the entrance we were completely ignored by waitstaff. The last straw was seeing them wait on customers who came in after us--so after ten minutes of this we finally got up and left. We were right in front... More

We have eaten at the wayside many times over the years and have never been disappointed . The food is just plain down home good!! Hand cut fries, homemade pies, even have homemade ice team now! We were looking forward to dessert but found after we finished our meal we didn't have room. And this last time we were blessed... More

Fresh food, and speedy service . . . delicious Brunch, and was done in $10.00. This place is nice for a quick Brunch... Only, one weak point is our waitress was so rude.. The place was so crowded...
