We went here while passing through the area. We went based on other reviews. It was very good. A little hectic as it is very close to the capital so make sure you know what you want before getting in line and then step right up as some of the clientele was aggressive! We took the sandwiches to go. They... More

We saw them... then smelled that great coffee. How good was our cups of joe you ask? We took home 3 bags to grind for ourselves. We went back and I can say Good chai also. Definitely a must if you enjoy good coffee. They have sandwiches and pastries but did not have any. They looked good though.

If you are in Montpelier and want to have a nice lunch or just a coffee come here, the service is also great. Food Is mostly sandwiches and they taste great. My favorite is turkey with artichoke.

We stopped by on a rainy day for a quick bite and the sandwiches were fantastic. Really good flavor and choices. Would definitely come back if we were in town longer.

the grounds were immaculate, very well tended, yet very inviting and casual and well used by the townsfolk for lounging, playing or conversing - very nice

Great coffee, great atmosphere! Haven't tried the sandwiches, but the pastries and bagels were wonderful. Friendly staff and good service.

Packed with locals! They roast their own and it's quite good (and available for purchase at the Hunger Mountain Coop nearby). The roast is pretty dark; I usually get the cafe au lait to cut it a bit.

We were only in Montpelier for about 45 minutes driving from Button Bay State Park to Portland, Maine. SO GLAD we stopped and got a sandwich for the road from here. Fresh, tasty, and filling. Also, funny that an extra large coffee is called radical size! Looking forward to going back to Montpelier in the future.

After walking around the town for a bit, we are jonesing for a cup of coffee and found this place to be a great resting stop. Wasn't expecting it to be so busy, but it was worth it. Excellent coffee, and the political names for the cup sizes plays right in with the name of the business. The only negative... More

We always stop here for a latte or a cup of good brewed coffee when we're in Montpelier, and we're never disappointed. I can't speak to the food.
