I accidentally came across the skinny pancake one day while waiting for my daughter's class to end. I'd heard of it and was excited to stumble upon it. I wasn't disappointed! I had a great cup of coffee and a BBQ pork crepe that featured local pork and an awesome cornmeal crepe that was tender and delicious. I sat on... More

On our way back from a ten-day vacation in Maine, my husband, my two sisters and myself stopped in Montpelier, VT for a bite to eat. Since I had just browsed through a visitor to Vermont's "must see" magazine and been attracted by a write up about the Skinny Pancake, we decided we'd give it a try. What a wonderful... More

Small restaurant, but the food was great. Both got omelets and they were great. Very reasonably priced meals.

Despite the crowd, and a threatened delay of a half hour, the food arrived within five minutes! Our group of three started out with Quebecois Poutine, which was delicious and more than plenty as an appetizer for all, and before we were finished our crepes arrived, steaming and packed with goodness. Although I was permitted to order from the kids... More

Food was good, flavorful savory crepes with good fillings. Decent portion for price. Nice outdoor seating, has a decent draft selection too! Good service, and the owner was around and being friendly too.

Skinny Pancake is a play on words for crepes - the mainstay of this casual cafe. It is open for breakfast but there is a very limited menu. If you're looking for toast, a bowl of cereal or anything similarly light you won't find it here. Rather there are some more substantive creative offerings including a pretty decent breakfast burrito.... More

This place is much more pricey (with less food) than it's counterpart and less localvore minded breakfast competition across the street, so just for a treat I took my daughter to breakfast here one Sunday about a year and a half ago. I don't eat grains, so I requested a crepe wtih just the "insides" - and no crepe -... More

This place is super-delicious! There are lots of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike, and they are devoted to local food sourcing. I love the Veggie Monster and several of the sweet crepes, plus they do daily specials and have beer, cider, and wine with dinner. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been here a few times. The food is good. I wish the portions were a little bigger, or maybe a little side of some kind. It always seems kind of expensive. For two adult meals, two sodas, an orange juice, and a kids crepe was $40ish the other day. Good location right by the aquarium and the waterfront.
