Great bar grub with excellent taps!

I had the 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich with cheddar ale soup. It was so much better than I ever expected! Add to that some wonderful beer selections, & we had a night to remember.

Truly a great pub. Bart, our bartender was quite knowledgeable about the several beers and spirits available. Nice and warm environment with good food to boot. A must see if in the Montpelier area.

Fantastic place. Warm and friendly staff. Great food and the best selection of craft brews you will see anywhere. I would highly recommend a stop here if you are visiting Montpelier.

Very good meal with all ingredients purchased locally. Great variety of micro brews from local and area micro brewers.

We came after our friends recommending it. The burger was around 13-15 dollars and came with fries. That's certainly on the high end for a burger. We got a hill farmstead beer and we were shocked that it tasted stale. Disappointing.

We brought in 11 people (including 7 kids) for lunch and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating or friendlier. Even during the busy rush of the lunch hour, they found a way to seat us and quickly got our orders. The beer selection is out of this world and the kids will love the "rookie" root beer they have.... More

I have been in this place for a couple of times during a period of work in Montpelier. The place is nice and comfortable, the staff is friendly and polite, good food, excellent beer list. The restaurant is frequented by mostly young people who make the atmosphere very cheerful.

Great beer. Lots of yuppies make up this scene which can be difficult for us young local natives but get early grab a beer and a burger before a movie or on a date.

A great draft list is all that I need in life and this satisfied my needs. Lawson's, Alchemist and Hill Farmstead--who needs food when you have this hat trick of breweries!

We were in Montpelier on a Sunday. This was one of the few places that was open for lunch. Old building, but great food. Lots of different beers and ales on a chalk board so, it changes often.
