Specialty coffees you speechless and chocolate croissant fresh daily, our hands down the best chocolate some. I called ahead one day to place my order, when I came in the croissants boxed and ready to be paid for. It was absolutely wonderful service, not to mention that when I ordered, I was informed that it was buy one get one... More

My husband and I took a day trip out to Vermont during a trip to Maine. We decided to stop off in Montpelier for a quick visit and bite to eat. After having some lunch, I wanted to satisfy my sweet tooth so we stopped by La Brioche. We got a latte and cappuccino and I tried some of the... More

Remember it is a training unit for New England Culinary Institute, sometimes service is wonderful at the counter and sometimes you get the feeling that the counter staff wish they were somewhere else! That said sandwiches, pastries and soups are always delcious and good choice of cookies and coffee too. Nice outdoor seating in summer for watching the world of... More

What a treat. Was walking the cold streets of Montpelier, VT looking for a place for a quick sandwich. I knew it would be great for the taste buds as soon as I walked in. Culinary school chef candidates scurrying around and the aroma of pastries, soup and coffee. Well done.

Great place for a nice bowl of soup with a fresh piece of bread. Afterwards indulge in a sweet decadence .."... Enjoy the view of downtown and support the Culinary School. All at a reasonable price!

Really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich, great bread, beautiful veggies, nice flavor! Family enjoyed chicken noodle soup. This bakery is a school! Was neat to see students coming through. Check out main building that houses this restaurant, nice photography exhibits on display out in the main hallways. Highly recommend,

This is one lovely little cafe with great sandwiches and delicious soup. The bread was very fresh, and the service was friendly.

I enjoyed my sandwich and my soup. I wish that the sandwich were made to order and not premade at the culinary school.

Stopped off here after eating at NECI to get a loaf of the Pan levain that was served to us at lunch. Absolutely best quality bread, toothsome crust and chewy interior. Scooped up an eclair and a decadent looking square of german chocolate cake. Total cost? 5.25. We live down in King Arthur territory ( Hanover NH) and the Baguettes... More

This is a good place if you want to sit down and munch on some great skones or muffins. Plus the lunch menu is quite unique. Don't forget the coffee.
