Unique treats, yummy!

We have been coming here for 9 years. The variety of cremee flavors - 6 per week - including chocolate and vanilla, and usually sugar free vanilla. My fav is the dish of dirt complete with gummy worm. Lots of mixins, toppings, and dips; along with hot food. Grab a bench or table and watch the... read more

A friend of mine had a bad experience. She has been here numerous times, and loves hot fudge, but never gets enough. This one time she asked for and paid for extra extra extra hot fudge, on receiving her sundae there was very little hot fudge, and nicely asked the gentleman for more as she had paid for it, he... If your looking for the best, most unforgettable tasting soft serve in the northern hemisphere, this is the place to get it. There is also a nice view of the Winooski River too. But back to the ice cream, a different kind for everyone but I think the Black Raspberry is the most delicious of all, with chocolate dip of... More

Wow!!! Forget the big factory tour and the need to take out a mortgage to buy ice cream for your family. Locals know this is the place to get a Little People Creme or be brave and order a LARGE. It truly is LARGE. What a deal! Grab a dish of dirt or some fried dough. Their French fries are... More

First off, I think it's cute that Vermonters call ice cream cremees. This is your average ice cream stand. Nothing spectacular about it except that their portions are quite large. I recommend.

The past few years I try them again when they open. Every year the past few years they keep changing things that were always good. I got a creemie last week and it was completely flavorless and was not creamy at all. It was not good at all. I complained to the cashier and she said they bought all new... More

Bummer! Stopped at the DC for the first time this season and was SORELY DISAPPOINTED. Prices may (or may not) have risen slightly from last year...but it's still a fairly solid value - size-wise - by comparison to most (two mediums was just over $5...the DC 'medium' being equal-to-or-greater-than most others' 'large'). The intensely disappointing thing is that the cremee... More

If you are looking for yummy soft serve that is BIG and affordable - make the stop here. It is a seasonal business so do not plan to visit in colder months.

Always busy on a summer evening. Limited hours as they close early in the evening even for a sleepy town like Montpelier. Lots of choices for ice cream

Just west of downtown Montpelier (Vermont’s Capitol City) on Route 2 your will find ice cream heaven at the Dairy Creme. There are other Ice Cream stands (with two first names) that are better know but none of them do soft serve like Dairy Crème. My wife and I have been going there for years. Today, after months of dieting... More
