Essentially the hostess was in some sort of slow motion mode. She never acknowledge that we were even there waiting at the podium. My son said, "gee dad if it takes a long time to be seated then we'll probably experience bad service." We left and went to the Coffee Corner and had excellent service. We met both the owners.

Nice place, great pizza and awesome customer service! They even cooked an off-the-menu dish for our 1 year old.

My fiancé and I stopped by here on our way up to Stowe/Morrisville. This was our second stop here with no complaints. We shared a Caesar salad and a calzone. Both delicious. Wait staff was friendly and laid back. Prices reasonable. Just watch the street parking as we got a $10 ticket with poorly placed signs!

Positive Pie, (P-Pie to Locals), used to be a go-to-place for me. They made the best Pie in town, and had great entrees as well. It has gone down hill fast. I know they treat their employees very poorly, (keeping the language PG...). They got rid of a Chef and worked one of the very capable cooks to death in... More

So this is downtown Montpelier staple restaurant. The good.... Above average pizza, good menu selection, decent vegetarian options and a great location. The Bad... almost always bad service. Lazy, aloof, and seem to care less about tips or service. feels like you're in France without the scenery or good food. The restaurant is always a little messy. they don't seem... More

I've lived in Montpelier much longer than Positive Pie has, but I can recall only one time that I had something other than pizza. That was years ago, so my expertise is limited to pizza. It is further limited by the fact that I order only cheese (occasionally with pepperoni), and 98% of the time I order takeout and eat... More

I have eaten at this restaurant many times. It is a great family place with delicious pizza and good entrees. The triton (fish wrap) is a winner if you don't want pizza. They also have take out in the back of the restaurant. The only negative is the atmosphere or floor layout. It seems crowded and the room is very... More

What a pizza treat! Tried the Margherita pizza and the Don P. Nitro--both tasty and delicious hand-tossed pizzas. If you are a pizza afficionado, be sure to stop here when in Montpelier.

This is one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. And, the local beer selection was great. We went to the Hardwick restaurant, and Montepelier-both fantastic.
