Yummy soup

Had a great bowl of roasted red pepper soup and mushroom, asparagus risotto. Very tasty after having a few mediocre meals at other places in he area.

$48. For one 10" gluten-free pizza with two toppings, and one 16" pizza with three toppings. And one craft beer. Definitely a FABULOUS pizza - I have never in my life had better. MMmmmmm....drooling just thinking about it. Best gluten-free crust in the universe. But $48? The room was too dark, very loud, and very full of yuppy 30-somethings letting... More

The title says it all. Far and away, this is the best pizza in Montpelier. Hand tossed crust, excellent toppings. What more could you ask for?

I had a dinner meeting here on Sunday and allowed my kids and two friends to sit at a table near us while they enjoyed their own dinner. The pizza was delicious (a little on the expensive side, but that's what happens at nicer restaurants), and they especially loved the desserts: a chocolate torte and some friend dough similar to... It is a decent restaurant, although it looks a bit unkempt. In our party of 6 no one ordered pizza. My fish wrap was good, with a large portion of fish.Service seemed a bit inattentive. Once ordered the food was delivered quite promptly. They have a good beer list. If you want Hill Farmstead, check this out!

Essentially the hostess was in some sort of slow motion mode. She never acknowledge that we were even there waiting at the podium. My son said, "gee dad if it takes a long time to be seated then we'll probably experience bad service." We left and went to the Coffee Corner and had excellent service. We met both the owners.

Nice place, great pizza and awesome customer service! They even cooked an off-the-menu dish for our 1 year old.

My fiancé and I stopped by here on our way up to Stowe/Morrisville. This was our second stop here with no complaints. We shared a Caesar salad and a calzone. Both delicious. Wait staff was friendly and laid back. Prices reasonable. Just watch the street parking as we got a $10 ticket with poorly placed signs!

Positive Pie, (P-Pie to Locals), used to be a go-to-place for me. They made the best Pie in town, and had great entrees as well. It has gone down hill fast. I know they treat their employees very poorly, (keeping the language PG...). They got rid of a Chef and worked one of the very capable cooks to death in... More

So this is downtown Montpelier staple restaurant. The good.... Above average pizza, good menu selection, decent vegetarian options and a great location. The Bad... almost always bad service. Lazy, aloof, and seem to care less about tips or service. feels like you're in France without the scenery or good food. The restaurant is always a little messy. they don't seem... More
