Farm-to-table goodness here

Hungry and cold, my friends and I found this great place via Yelp. A farm-to-table restaurant with lots of coziness and charm to go around, Kismet offers a delicious prix fixe dinner menu from which you can select a la carte items. Their plates are quite ideal for sharing. Luckily, I was able... read more

We went for brunch on New Year's Day and were overall delighted. My companion had the Portuguese baked eggs, which were unusual and delicious. I had a special that was on for that day, a benedict florentine style dish with crusty bread instead of english muffins. The components of the dish were all good, including the hollandaise, but in my... More

Part of the eat local movement, Kismet is the best brunch option in Montpelier. A limited but delicious menu with plenty of variety provides the eater with an excellent meal. Their bloody mary's are highly regarded and are highly recommended when eating brunch at Kismet. There is limited seating and it can fill up quite quickly so reservations can come... More

Try this place. I love their Brunch! Great waitstaff and creative well prepared food. It's not cheap, but I never feel like I paid too much. all around good experiences there.

Between us we had the amazing bourbon burger, the duck and the house made kim chi. Oh and the smashed fingerling potatoes that came with the burger, covered in some grated cheese. House made dirty Martini's at the bar, made for a perfect night after the filk @ the Savoy. I tend to go ( and often line up a... More

Friendly service, awesome sandwiches, missed the pickle and chips, great chewy, large bread slices, wonderful slab of tempeh, perfect amount of dressing and sauerkraut

I am sorry and sad to say that I was disappointed. I really liked the atmosphere and service. I want this place to do well but we were unimpressed by the food once it arrived. There were three of us: one of us ordered a burger and opted for salad instead of fries; one of us ordered the reuben; and... More

Went here for dinner with a few friends when I was visiting Montpelier this fall. The menu was inventive, yet expensive for what you get; I ordered a tempeh veggie burger which was two pieces of almost burnt tempeh on a bun with a tomato for $15 and minimal sides of arugula and potatoes. While I can't speak for the... More

We were a party of 7 for supper. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. Kismet was full of people and we were glad we had reservations. The menu is varied and the food is fresh and well-prepared. It's great for a special occasion.

The food is good, but it is really expensive for what you get. My daughter and I went there for an early dinner she got a burger and I got a soup and a coke. The bill was $100 after tax. It did taste good but not that good. There are other restaurants that serve good food and are not... More
