Thank you fellow reviewers for recommending Storm Cafe. It did not disappoint. The outdoor seating, while small is relaxing. The service was 1st class. The food was delicious. I had the Tomato basil Soup which was divine and a yummy panini with artichokes and mushrooms. My husband enjoyed his burger very much. I wish we lived closer to Middlebury!

My friends, husband and I have a marvelous meal. I had the best penne carbonara of my life! We sat outside enjoying a view of the river, not to mention its slight murmur. Appetizers, entree and dessert was a win-win for all of us. The flourless chocolate cake was out of this world.

We were late in booking dinner and got a table inside. I would highly recommend getting a table outside - a completely different experience. Inside, the ceiling is low, the room is stuffy and the kitchen door is constantly opening/closing. Fortunately, the staff were kind enough to relocate us to an outside table once we finished out appetizers and we... More

We had dinner at Storm Cafe while visiting long time friends that live in the area. The location by the creek is very picturesque but you might want to bring insect repellent at some times of the year. We had two orders of heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella to start with, it was a good size serving. I had the Vegan... More

Vermont at its finest. Local super fresh ingredients and family owned. Nothing better than sitting by a river eating a clean salad and cold beer. I highly recommend sitting outside. It's worth the wait. We enjoyed a peak in the kitchen while waiting. Chef and Owner is expressive and passionate about making sure your plate is prompt and perfect. We... More

We stumbled upon Storm Cafe by accident when we were wondering the streets of Middlebury. This quaint Vermont town has a lot to offer and Storm Cafe is a gem. My husband and I had salads, salmon burger and black bean burger. The black bean burger was outstanding and a lot of food for lunch. We were happy to sit... More

We were advised not to let the weather deter us from the wonderful treat in store for us at this very popular restaurant. The Storm Cafe on Otter Creek is a lovely romantic setting inside or on the deck. Lily, our server was superb even on such a busy night. My husband had the duck and I had the flank... More
