We had dinner at Storm Cafe while visiting long time friends that live in the area. The location by the creek is very picturesque but you might want to bring insect repellent at some times of the year. We had two orders of heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella to start with, it was a good size serving. I had the Vegan... More

This is a great place to eat. We stumbled upon this restaurant and had lunch. What a nice meal. Plenty to eat and tasty to boot. If you are in Middlebury, VT don't miss this one.

Vermont at its finest. Local super fresh ingredients and family owned. Nothing better than sitting by a river eating a clean salad and cold beer. I highly recommend sitting outside. It's worth the wait. We enjoyed a peak in the kitchen while waiting. Chef and Owner is expressive and passionate about making sure your plate is prompt and perfect. We... More

We stumbled upon Storm Cafe by accident when we were wondering the streets of Middlebury. This quaint Vermont town has a lot to offer and Storm Cafe is a gem. My husband and I had salads, salmon burger and black bean burger. The black bean burger was outstanding and a lot of food for lunch. We were happy to sit... More

We were advised not to let the weather deter us from the wonderful treat in store for us at this very popular restaurant. The Storm Cafe on Otter Creek is a lovely romantic setting inside or on the deck. Lily, our server was superb even on such a busy night. My husband had the duck and I had the flank... More

We had the fish special, Hake, served in a sake hoisin sauce with carrot purée and fresh vegetables. Started with shared appetizers including hummus, veg, and grilled flat breads. Topped it all with a nice bottle of NZ Sauvignon blanc. Ambience was great --- sat in the covered deck and watched the rain come down around us. Truly a memorable... More

This was our second trip to the Storm, but our first opportunity to enjoy the outdoor patio that sits right above the river. The lighting and atmosphere are very special, and the food was excellent. We both had very different entrees, a meat and a pasta dish, and both were perfect.

Several local friends recommended this restaurant as a must do when in town and they were right. Our party of four ate on the deck overlooking the river on a warm Summer day and really enjoyed the food. The soups and salads were excellent and the sandwiches were very tasty and high quality. I especially like the Cuban sandwich it... More
