In the summertime it's lovely to eat on the patio beside the river and the falls. Indoors, sadly, it's kind of dark, no view. A bit confining. I suspect many come here in summer for this outdoor experience. I wish the food was better. A dinner of pasta was glutinous. So was my husband's dish. The menu is not particularly... More

I had the Traditional Cheese Manicotti. along with Roasted Garlic and Pureed Potato Soup. Husband had the Misty Knoll Chicken Marsala. Both were excellent. This is a great place for couples. Try to get outdoor seating if the weather is nice. We arrived on a Saturday night just after opening at 5:00PM. Luckily we were able to get a table... More

We enjoyed a delicious lunch the other day during a rainy afternoon in Middlebury. The restaurant is down a small hill on a street off the main drag. GPS found it quite easiky. Due to a busy lunch hour, we walked I've the bridge overlooking the waterfalls while we waited for our table. Not a bad way to wait it... More

We ate out on the deck overlooking the Otter Creek and the ambiance was breathtaking! One of my daughter's had the Hummus salad which was HUGE so she took the rest home to enjoy another great meal later. My other daughter had the mussels which was also plentiful and tasty. My husband had the ravioli which he raved about and... More

I only go to the Storm Cafe when the weather is warm and beautiful because the deck is what makes it great. The food is very good, and so is the service, but the deck on the bank of Otter Creek is wonderful. There's an excellent selection of wine and local beers. The menu is a bit limited, but what... Enjoy this reasonable, well located resto overlooking the falls. An easy walk from anywhere in centre of town. Breakfast/lunch choices were both interesting and generous. Great staff attitude. Bonne appetit!

A friend and I met for lunch at this restaurant. I hadn't been here in a few years, but it is even better than I remember it. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of choices for lunch, including half sandwich and soup or salad combos; the potato garlic soup alone is enough to make you want to return!... More

When I want to do something special, this is the place I eat. Every taste is delicious. Soups. Desserts. Main meal. It is not the place for a private conversation, though. Tables are very close together.

I visited the Storm Cafe for lunch last summer while en route to the Berkshires. After descending a steep hill to the quaint Frog Hollow Mill, we were escorted to a lovely table on the patio overlooking Otter Creek. As it was a hot day, two of the three members in our party opted for salads. The house hummus was... More
