Consistently good, great salad bar.

Been here more than a few times and each visit was good. The menu has enough variety to please anyone and the salad bad is about as expansive as any I’ve ever seen. The soup and salad bad is a good combination for a lighter dinner, and the clam chowder is very good. The fresh bread selection is... read more

Ate here Memorial Day Weekend. Its one of those restaurants with different themed rooms - an antique lake party boat sits in an area surrounded by the salad bar and the bread bar. At the table the waitress (a shout out to Willow who did an excellent job) rattled off a lengthy list of beers ON TAP. There were lots... More

Decent pub grub and a fully stocked salad & soup bar in an eclectic setting. Good waitstaff, friendly and attentive. Worth a stop if in the area.

This is the third time a group of us (at least 40) have dined at Fire and Ice. Just the restaurants decor in itself is amazing. Each room has its own character. Then you add the 55+ salad bar - at a very reasonable price - what more could you ask for. I recommend this restaurant highly.

I think the best thing I can say about Fire and Ice is that it had really interesting decor. We enjoyed looking at all the pictures on the wall. Our dinner was just average, our server was kinda grouchy, and the salad bar was not that great. We were left just thinking it was just average, and would likely try... More

Every couple of years we come here and it's always outstanding. The salad bar with homemade bread, cheese, sushi, shrimp cocktail fresh milk is a huge wow. Today I had filet mignon stuffed with lobster and hollandaise sauce OMG! The decor is so interesting this is a must do when in Middlebury VT :-)

We chose the restaurant based on a recommendation form the front desk. The restaurant it's self is cute and they have a good salad bar, but the service was slow. I didn't find the food outstanding, but the kids loved the huge desserts.

The service was great. The rooms and the decor is so interesting. I got the salad bar as well as the soup of the day. My two companions go the cashew stir fry and the stake. the I thought it had many options when it came to the salad bar. They can do salad not problem but when it came... More

I used to visit this place as a student in the 1970's. It was much smaller then, but I have fond memories of times with friends and when my family would visit. It has been expanded and adorned quite a lot since that time. I love all the memorabilia and sports equipment and whatnot on the walls. Meanwhile, as a... More
