Good food, nice atmosphere, great wait staff

We had a gift certificate so we got to try Fire and Ice with little cost to us... that being said, The food was good - nothing to write home about, not memorable (which is not a bad thing) - the atmosphere was very inviting - Lindsey our server did a GREAT job! Helping with wine selection etc... read more

Great salad bar, now with shrimp cocktail, sushi and still the yummy homemade breads(all you can eat for all) . We ate in the bar during happy hour (yippee), they discount the appetizers too, what more do you need.

Great atmosphere, service and food. This place is a maze of eclectic rooms. We sat at the 31 Doug booth; secluded and relatively quiet. The salad bar they brag about deserves to be bragged about. The bread board is also excellent. Our server, Charlotte, did a great job. My wife's Chateaubriand was delicious. Apparently they were training a new cook... More

We often enjoy eating at Fire and Ice. The interior is interesting, the service is good, the drinks are always good and the food is very good - all at a normal cost.

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner here. The atmosphere and food were both very good. Hubby really enjoyed the salad bar. Would definitely visit again.

The atmosphere is wonderful, lots of local pictures and items. Food is OK. Salad bar seems to be more out of can than fresh.

Stopped into Middlebury to visit our Daughter, based on TripAdvisor reviews we decided to try this restaurant. Lots of parks available, our visit was in the middle of the afternoon on the fourth of July. The place is over full of stuff, done with taste, and an interesting gimmick, palatable, and not quite overwhelming. The staff is very friendly, and... More

My wife and I attended a wedding reception today at Fire & Ice. Our small group was seated in the Library of this eclectic restaurant. Although we were not provided with the full menu under the circumstances, the menu that we were provided included 8 wide-ranging entree selections. Each selection included the full and unlimited salad and bread bar. As... More

We were a bit concerned after reading some mixed reviews but we loved the place. The decor is eclectic and charming and the food was very good. We had a vegetable stir fry (very good), the bar steak (very good), the steak and lobster (very good), and the risotto and shrimp (not as good). Our waitress was attentive and charming.... More
