Stopped in here for lunch today, Novemer 15, 2014. What a gem of a place. Incredibly decorated, it's a feast for the eyes no matter where you look - and not a spec of dust on anything! My wife saw this highlighted on NH Chronicle and picked it as a lunch stop on our way up to Essex Junction, VT.... More

We stopped in for a quick bite after the game. The prime rib was real good...a little more medium than medium rare. Our server, Jenn, made a good meal....great. She picked my wine and suggested a great appetizer special - cheddar, apple, and red onion tart. Her bright smile took the chill off a cold and rainy Fall evening. Try... More

We were walking by and stopped in for dessert. They had a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake that had a maple glaze....Amazing! Good service too.

The good: 1) They have reserved parking spaces for veterans. Love that. 2) Great salad bar with something for everyone 3) Unique decor The bad: 1) I have never included background music in a review before, but the 50s music that played through the speakers in every room annoyed the heck out of me. I almost walked out after I... More

Our son attends Middlebury College and every time we head out there, my husband and I are hard pressed to find a nice restaurant. Oh, don't get me wrong, we've had some excellent food, but had yet to have a nice dining experience along with good food. We had heard about Fire and Ice and never got a chance to... More

There were four of us who had dinner at this establishment. All four of us really enjoyed the food and thought the salad bar was well worth the price. The service was very good also, and they have a lot of cool things in the place to make it a really nice experience.

I love Fire and Ice, and would go even more frequently if I didn't live an hour from Middlebury. We always get a friendly greeting as we come in, and we usually ask for a table in the Library - even though it seats almost 40, the room is laid out so that each table feels "private" and we could... I like to allow a few days to pass before I review a business. As for Fire and Ice (FI), this is what I did. Upon entering you have to admire the work that has gone in to decorating this place. It is quite extensive, unique, and must be very expensive for upkeep. We were in during a weeknight in... More

Very different and unique atmosphere. The food and service were equally good. The prime rib, steak, and twice baked potatoes were very good.
