A true Thai experience and menu. Every dish is authentic and has wonderful flavor and aroma. Nice little note; the staff and owners request no cell phone use in their restaurant. This means that they and you pay attention to each other and guests.

We were more than a little hesitant when deciding to give this place a try. We, wrongly, figured that at best we'd get some close version of OK thai food. Boy were we wrong. Everything we ordered was delicious and the heat on the curry perfect. Hot enough to sweat but not kill the flavors! We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I were happily surprised to find this fabulous Thai restaurant, when we visited Middlebury. The atmosphere is great, and the food is excellent, with ample portions, at very reasonable prices. Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes, and I loved that which I had at Sabai Sabai. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Green Curry Fried Rice.... More

If you are looking for a healthy, cheap and well made meal, this place is THE place. The portions are decent and on average you will spend ~$10/dish per person. Great option if you are looking just for a simple tasty meal. Great service as well.

I am not a Thai food expert, but know a good meal when I get one. We recently ate here, we all loved our food, the service and the atmosphere. Middlebury has a good number of great restaurants, Sabai Sabai is one of them.

Eating in Vermont can be challenging for those of us who like some spice in our diets. Sabai Sabai fills the gap beautifully. Fresh ingredients are perfectly presented. Ask for Thai spicy and they will comply. My friend wanted ZERO spice. Both of us were very happy. Yum!

I think the food has been better here since they focused just on Thai food. The quality is very high and all the dishes are excellent. I've had almost every combination of curry, noodles (the Pad See Ew is really good) and stir fry. Didn't love the appetizer dumplings but all the main dishes are excellent and they can cater... I have eaten at Middlebury's only Thai restaurant several times, but my recent experience taking relatives visiting from abroad was so horrific that I have to write this review. Our relatives have two children, aged 6 & 7. In Vermont, I expected that children would be welcome in any restaurant, but Sabai Sabai was NOT KID FRIENDLY. When we arrived,... More

I had been to Sabai Sabai several times in the past and had wonderful meals. I especially liked their sushi. I went there this time specifically to get sushi, but there was a sign in the dining room indicating they were no longer serving sushi. I was very disappointed but decided to eat there anyway. Then I ordered a curry... More

A solid Thai restaurant that is willing to make it authentically hot if you ask. Right in the downtown area. Great service. Nice, spacious room.
