Hearty Breakfast

We came in for a late breakfast and as we were heading to New Hampshire we thought a big breakfast would hold us until dinner. It did! The service was nice, the restaurant clean and the food was fresh and tasty. What more could you ask for.

Visiting Family in the area, we stopped at Rosie's for Lunch. I had two choices, meatloaf or hot turkey (standards for me) When I asked our waitress (Danielle)what she thought, she said both are awesome. BUT if you like Ruben's, our's is outstanding. . She wasn't wrong, the meat melted in your mouth, flavor amazing. My husband had the Club... More

We visited Rosie's as we have passed by and it's always busy so we had high expectations. We all ordered Split Pea with Ham soup as it was one of the specials of the day and Grilled Cheese sandwiches all around. The Split Pea soup came out almost immediately after we ordered it. At first glance we could tell that... More

Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was more kitschy than anything else. We came for breakfast and that seemed to be what they did. Usual options were available, and the experience was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. I'd come back if trying to knock off breakfast and get on with my day.

This is a throwback for sure! I enjoyed the dated old school family restaurant style. From what i've been told they've been around forever and haven't messed with the formula since day 1. Maybe not a culinary adventure but it's exactly as advertised.

Loved the honey wheat toast, green mountain coffee, and most of all the omelet (cheese, basil, tomatoes).

Discovered Rosie's when searching for breakfast in Middlebury. Decided to try for dinner and had great food with very friendly service. Breakfast was equally good. Rosie's deliver what they say they will - 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts there proves we were happy with what they offer.

Rosies's comes across as a typical American roadside restaurant with a warm and homey feel. There are numerous rooms, all in wood decor and plenty of booths or tables as you wish. It is very welcoming and the staff is helpful and friendly. Rosie's is a favorite both with locals and students from Middlebury College. Breakfasts and lunches seem to... More

I truly love these kinds of places. Good home cooking, funny sassy wait staff, lots of bric a brac to look at while you are waiting for your food. The kind of place where the Noon Lion’s meet every Thursday; in fact I believe they were leaving when we got there at 1 PM. The menu is huge by diner... More

We were about halfway between our start in Glens Falls, NY and our Waterbury, VT destanation and got the lunch time hungries. I say Rosie's and quickly made a U-turn. sure glad we did. Little crowded with local college students but had thinned out nicely by the time our food arrived. I tried a pull pork Bar BQ platter which... More
