Quick service, wholesome food

Great sandwich cafe near Middlebury campus. We had very little time for lunch and ordered an avocado BLT and a falafel pita. They made them so quickly we hardly had time to wash hands. Both were delicious. Casual, fast, nutritious, and satisfying!

Stopped in for a latter and had a really great experience. My barista was really pleasant, with a big smile and a hello when I walked in and she sure knew how to cook up a great latte. Coffee was robust and smooth, perfect amount of foam and the milk temp was spot on. Also took advantage of one of... More

We were there at closing on New Year's Eve, running late, and the staff didn't shoo us away. It was comfortable, excellent food, reasonable prices, and healthy!!! I like the interior atmosphere. Staff was friendly and personable and efficient. I would love to return.

We have eaten here before and always enjoyed the informal atmosphere, great service and excellent food. The menu is very comprehensive, so if you feel like just a light lunch there are many kinds of sandwich on offer, or you can order a bigger meal which will fuel you for the rest of your day. This time I tried the... More

A great slice of pizza or a great bowl of mac and cheese for a reasonable price. This is a nice place for lunch,

Took my son to visit Middlebury College and then we walked around town looking for a place to eat lunch. The lunch was delicious and this is a true mom and pop type shop. Quintessential Vermont! The bread was delicious, healthy, obviously baked that day. I had the chicken salad~ delicious. My son had the ham and cheese melt~ good... More

Visited this college town today and stopped by this place for lunch. The check for two was around $20. Even though I ordered, paid, and picked up lunch at the counter, I left a $4 tip and the girl was very appreciative. The clam chowder was very good as well as the turkey panini. My partner said the fish and... More

Everything made to order -- good burgers, homemade soups, nice salads, and a variety of non-alcoholic drink options (including a coffee bar). I wouldn't drive far out of my way to eat here, but when in Middlebury, it is a very good stop. Natives are very friendly -- service is fast and efficient (and the staff actually seems to enjoy... This place has a good variety and decent prices. My wife and daughter really liked the fish n' chips. The open kitchen allows you to see them make the food in a clean well maintained kitchen.

The staff here is always prompt, friendly, and ready to help (usually before I can decide what I want!) The atmosphere is comfortable & warm, has free wifi, is bus your own plates style, and has good seating. I just recently had a huge egg sandwich with thick bacon (that was cooked in their wood-fired oven) on fresh hearty whole... More
