First let me preface with; I believe this is under new ownership. However in going through the shops of MarblePlace in Middlebury, I was excited to see a deli. However upon entering, I was dismayed by the dingy appearance and felt everything was stale and dirty.

If this is helpful please click helpful below. This is a trendy sandwich shop with really fresh meats and veggies. Its very appealing because the concoctions are different and appealing. There is some sitting area upstairs and down. It is really a lunch spot only. The people are friendly and there is ample parking. The price was very fair. I... More

So good I went twice! Tons of vegetable options and sauces, cheeses, etc to make your sandwich to order OR choose from the large menu of sandwiches, quiches, soups, salads. Seriously good value for your dollar. OMG the bread - honey oat - and the garlic basil mayo is a MUST have. Good selection of specialty sodas, juices, potato chips.... More

Nothing fancy as far as the décor is concerned, but I thought the sandwiches were original, used very high quality ingredients, and despite there being a line out the door (!), service was very fast and friendly. Also, no one could finish there sandwich because they really were big which means that it was a great value for what they... More

Having just finished working at the local summer camp for the past 3months, this was one of the staff's favorite places to eat for lunch. After hearing about how great it was, I finally decided to try it and I was NOT disappointed. I love the fact that it is made to order, and the sizes of the food is... More

My family and I made a special trip to Middlebury just to try this place. We heard from a friend who had stopped in and just raved about it. I had the Vermonter, while my wife had the Purple's Passion.l Incredible! from the Bread to the toppings, everything was fresh and exactly the way it should be; Delicious! The prices... More

A Zagat 2013 report of 50 States, 50 Sandwiches listed The Vermonter sandwich from this Noonie's Deli to represent Vermont. After Middlebury College commencement ceremonies last weekend, our family (and a few others) opted for one last lunch at Noonie's Deli. Some in our family ordered The Vermonter...YUM! Portions are plentiful - everything we ordered was great. Deli is casual... More

Best sandwiches on delicious bread! You get an enormous sandwich built to your liking on homemade thick sliced bread.

This is a nice place, clean and located in the heart of Middlebury. Portions are quite generous. I had an avocado BLT with pesto that was superb. It was big though, so I ate half of it in the restaurant, for lunch, then the other half on the way home to NJ a few hours later.

People rave about this place, but to us it was your basic deli with the usual range of offerings. Good bread, though.
