Atmosphere was like an upscale pub - very comfortable. Staff was friendly and gave good service. Tried nachos which were great and Shepard Poe which was a bit dry. Good wine and craft beer selections. Locals eat here - would recommend.

In town on business, needed a local restaurant to eat alone. This was just right -- not too fancy, but with a restaurant side where I could sit alone without the "bar" atmosphere. Service was prompt and polite. Good wine choices and nice menu with lots of options including apps, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Chose the steak, blue cheese and... More

Good bar food w focus on Local Products. Burger was rare and beet salad was evenly dressed. Flexible about Football games on screens. Pricey, but worth stop between Manchester and Richmond.

I have eaten at Two Brothers Tavern several times over the last few years, each of these experiences have been outstanding. Today, after having a less than satisfactory experience at trying to eat a late lunch in a Shelburne eatery, we decided to drive down to Middlebury and go with the tried and tested Two Brothers Tavern. As usual, it... More

We were visiting Middlebury for NCAA D3 field hockey tournament. We came here On a Saturday night @4:15. The food was above average. Good pulled pork sammich and sweet potato fries. There were two reasons why I did give it 4 stars. One: three of us were overcharged one bottle of Woodchuck Pear cider. Could understand one of us but... More

We were here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. It hasn't changed. Great service by Amber and the best food. The steak salad is a must. It was recommended by one of the staff at the Inn where we were staying and I was not disappointed. Sits by the traffic circle in Middlebury so there is a... More

Two Brothers Tavern is a nice place to escape for an hour or so. The atmoshere is comfortable, the food very good and the prices are reasonable. Try to get a seat where you can watch the world go by as you relax. The food is what I would call upscale pub food.

Talked my mother into having lunch here and we were not disappointed. Place was clean and staff was very friendly. Great beer selection. We had the Philly and the Turkey sandwich. Both were awesome! The Turkey had a slight edge because of the pickled red onions... yum. The bread on both sandwiches was so good. We had banana ice cream... More

I stopped in here for an early afternoon snack. Had a great vegetarian poutine made with Vermont cheese curds and an onion gravy. Great beer selection! Enjoyed the coziness of the bar area. Friendly bartender. Seemed the locals were having a good day!

Had a delicious lunch here, I had shepherds pie which I highly recommend and my husband had the chicken panini which was really good too. Nice and cosy, good atmosphere and great service.
