Loaded plate!

It's been well over a year since we ate at Two Brothers. We've never had a bad meal there but it hasn't been high on our "go to" list. I might be reconsidering. We were greeted warmly and the waitstaff was attentive. I was amazed at the amount of food we got for the money. We had the remains of... read more

We had dinner here after visiting Middlebury (it's right down the street). Really good food, very fresh. I had a wonderful salad and honestly the BEST Mac and cheese. They also make homemade ice cream that was awesome. I had honey ginger ice cream...amazing! The worst part of the entire experience was the parking. It was snowing and we couldn't... More

Inhan stopped in back in July, and my visit was disappointing. I posted a review, the owner reached out to me requesting my feedback. We had a very friendly interaction, I was impressed by his sincere desire to understand my concerns and determine what was required to make corrections. Note that I am a retired Fine Dining Chef, so have... More

My husband and I wanted to watch Mon night football during our wonderful vacation in Vermont this past autumn. We found Two Brothers in the charming downtown of Middlebury. We decided to eat our delicious dinner at the bar while we watched the game. The patrons were so friendly and our barkeep gave perfect service. Go see the beautiful state... More

Was in the area for business and really hungry. Service impeccable and the food is good. Had the rabbit chowder and the montreal rubben. Delicious.

Two Brothers is the local hang out. The food can be good but is mostly mediocre. The staff is excellent but quite possibly over worked. My advice would be to watch your bar bill and make sure it hasn't been padded.

Dear Mammie 2015, My name is Holmes Jacobs and I am one of the owners and the General Manager of Two Brothers Tavern. I am also your Cornwall neighbor. Obviously I was very dismayed by your review regarding mediocre food, over-worked staff and the suggestion that your bar bill was "padded". As a small business, we take such feedback very... More

There are really 3 parts to Two Brother's. There is the sports bar, with TVs, darts and drinking, a few tables & booth-bench without the privacy of a booth. Next to that there is the dining room, small and crowded, pretty casual. Good food for lunches, dinner or late-night snacking. The service can be pretty slow sometimes, but not always.... More

I've been to Two Bros many times and had a good experience in all aspects of the place - the downstairs bar is of course a classic student hangout and the closest thing to a "bar scene" you can get in Middlebury. The upstairs bar is nice for appetizers and drinks as well. The restaurant has delicious food and is... More

Went here for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Had a very interesting and delicious take on chicken and dumplings. We also had the sweet potato fries; the dipping sauce was deadly. Good beer menu as well. Highly recommended!
