Nice Place for a Pit Stop

Stop there for lunch with Motorcycle buddy. Perfect little tavern. Good variety of beers and the menu was decent. Had Tavern Burger and Ruben sandwiches. Very good plus can replace fries with good ceasar salad & anchovies . Little terasse outside but was full and on side of building.

This place gets a mixed review. My burger was fine but a bit messy so wound up using a fork and knife after getting tired of constantly using my napkin to wipe my hands and face. My wife had the salmon which she described as relatively tasteless and the accompanying tabouli salad just didn't go with the dish at all.

We arrived about 1:30 on a Monday in a college town, and figured we had missed the lunch rush. We had a 10 minute wait to get a table, and our server, Kenzie, was friendly but busy. I actually thought about leaving after we had been sitting for about 15 minutes before placing our order. The food was good. I... More

Stopped by on our travels for a "Burger and Beer" break and it was worth it. Craft beers were great as was the food and service. Worth stopping by.

This is where we discovered Poutine and it's where we return every year for a rediscovery. Still the ideal against which all others are judged. Add a great selection of local beers and other food, and this place is still a winner.

If you come to Middlebury, you have to visit the Twin Brothers. They have two floors with live music on weekends. You have a mix of the college students, families, that special date and it all works. They redesigned a few years back and it looks great and has a cozy feel. From appetizers to entrees, the food is really... More

Every time we visit Middlebury, we stop in at Two Brothers. This time we both had the onion soup & garden salad--Both were excellent! Onion soup was the best I've ever had (but don't tell my mom).

Ate at this restaurant over Memorial Day weekend, ordering the cheese steak and Long Trail Ale. Both the food and the beer were wonderful. Trendy atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant to any friends in the area.

Our party of two arrived before 4pm on a Saturday and waited long enough for initial contact from our server that it was the manager who inquired if we had be attended to yet and apologized. However we still waited longer than necessary for our beer flight and soda. A bit of advice the tables for two are tiny so... More

The main pub area (upstairs) was quite busy when I arrived with a friend at 6pm on a very recent Friday evening. Within moments the greeter sensed our hesitation and suggested the music venue downstairs. Thankfully we took her suggestion. Great (professional) rock-a-billy band playing standards and originals, excellent pub food and a busy but fully attentive bartender. We had... More
