The cakes are amazing!

The cakes are sublime - some of the best I have ever eaten. I drove by, stopped in, and took samples of cake home to my family. I had no idea how wonderful they would be. Kudos to the chef!

The food is of good quality, but the pricing is all by weight, so my experience was that the bill ends up being far more than we imagined, since who understands how much a slice of spanikopita or a cream puff weigh???? So, enjoy the food, as long as you're not on a budget.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place after leaving the Cabot Cheese factory. What a find! From the outside, the bakery doesn't look like anything special, but inside we found a charming little bakery with great food and a very unique and entertaining proprietor. Not only did he offer an excellent lunch, he provided comedy and made it a... More

Cakes and savouries fresh from the oven. Wit and banter from the owner. As a combination a great lunch stop. I had a stuffed brioche with spinach and my husband an empanada, both came with a Greek salad on the side. These were followed by flourless chocolate cream cake and a Bavarian apple tart which was so good we had... More

Our photography group stopped here for lunch and was not only treated to great food and deserts, but also to comedy provided by the owner. It was wonderful. Would love to back!

In the little town of Marshfield VT is an incredible bakery. "Rainbow Sweets"sports a small lunch menu; I tried an empenada that was flaky and delicious. But, come for the pastries. The "St. Honore," and the chocolate cake are incredible. Don't even think about sharing! My only complaint? "Rainbow Sweets" is located in Vermont, not on the Oregon Coast where... More

Had a wonderful dining experience at this fun little place in Marshfield, VT. The lunch and desserts were all good - we shared meals and sampled everything- and our host and proprietor was welcoming, knowledgeable and hilarious. Worth the effort to go out of your way to enjoy this great place!

Traveling on Rte 2 from St Johnsbury Vt to Burlington Vt came across this quaint bakery. It's in a very small town and I just wanted to grab a bite to eat -I never expected such outstanding service, food, and overall environment. Would expect this type of place in a major city-will definitely stop again. The Brioche I had was... More

We stumbled upon this little cafe as we were exploring the glory of Vermont and had a great lunch, nice dessert and gathered some treats for the road. Lunch was fresh outta the oven and tasted great. The accompanying Greek salad was super fresh and delicious. Cherry cheesecake was great for dessert. The experience at the cafe was fun, entertaining... More

Got there by a fluke and felt immensely lucky. The humble exterior - and interior - was quickly overshadowed by the warmth and impish welcome by the proprietor, who with rethorical skill and charm introduced us to the savoury morsels of the day. We (nearly) tried them all and felt much the happier for doing so. Go there - try... More
