Four of us at here on 7/22. We all started with the lobster bisque and we unanimously agreed it was fabulous, up there with the best we've ever had. Then we all had the same entrée, the flaming duck. Again, we very tremendously pleased. It was the first time at the restaurant for our friends. My wife and I have... More

This historic restaurant was outstanding in every way from the wonderful period character in an idyllic New England village, outstanding staff who were both warm and professional and outstanding food. We had lobster bisque, Tom turkey and pot roast and each item including the veg was....well outstanding. Don't go to Manchester without a visit.

Beautiful old tavern with lots of history - love the sloping floors! Food is outstanding and service superb. We always return each summer. Authentic decor and really comfortable for couples or groups.

We recently dined on a busy Saturday night and had a great experience! This restaurant is really worth a visit! We were promptly seated in one of the oldest rooms in the back with a working fireplace and plank floors. Waitstaff came right to our table and talked about all of the specials. The choices were plentiful but we opted... More

Ye Olde Tavern definitely has charm and character. The building itself it a relic and it's full of 18th century decor that seems genuine (rather than tacky). Their wine and beer offerings are respectable, and they have a nice drink menu as well. My wife and I started with the almond and brown sugar encrusted brie appetizer, which, along with... More

Well, this restaurant was recommended by several folks and I was not disappointed. The owner greeted us at the front door and made us feel welcome.
