Nice lunch in Manchester

Tiny lunch spot , only 9 tables. Good food but took quite long to get it. Interesting menu, lobster rolls, etc.. Quaint furnishings, look for the birds nest and eggs painted on the seat of your chair. Very crowded but good sound food

The turkey sandwich served on a Kaiser bun with homemade cranberry sauce is fabulous. It is huge, more than I can eat in one meal and the waitress quickly supplied a takeout container. Great friendly service, cozy chicken themed decor, 10 tables inside and a couple outside. Breakfast and lunch, no dinner service. I found out about this café from... More

We ate lunch here, the menu was good, everything sounded great. The only issue I have is no choice of side dish, it came with beets and some kind of noodle salad. I would have preferred chips. It is also cash only so be prepared if you are with a large group.

My husband, nine year old son and I visited this little place for lunch while on vacation. I ordered their Turkey sandwich and it was fantastic. We enjoyed our lunch but felt it really isn't a place for children. It's very small and their menu items are limited to things that a child would enjoy. It's more of an adult... More

This is a favorite lunch spot for us. Sandwiches and soups are terrific. Service is friendly and efficient. This place gets crowded during lunch rush but it is worth the wait (if you are outside on line). Give it a try!

Stopped in for a late lunch - they stop serving lunch at 2:30 and we arrived at 2:15. They were gracious and did not mention this when we were seated. We ordered a burger and the Russian Reuben. The items arrived promptly and were delicious. The pastrami was flavorful and delicate. This small restaurant provides flavorful and fresh food. They... More

The place is small but the food is fresh and very good. The women that work there are very pleasant. We were their May 10 (Mothers Day) and May 12 for breakfast. It wasn`t that crowded , must be the time of the year. Will definitely be going again next time we are in Manchester.

Tiny little cafe that is apparently very popular. Every time I go, it's packed. The women who own/run it are very efficient and pragmatic, running the place with impressive efficiency, but can be brusque and abrupt. They don't give the impression that they are terribly happy to see me walk in the door. I always feel like apologizing for showing... More

Our family loves the rooster cafe for breakfast and lunch. We have been coming here for years. In our last trip we went for lunch and devoured their vegetable soup and lamb gyro. My daughter had the mac and cheese and asked for seconds! The menu has so many options and each is better than the next. Turkey sandwish with... More
