went to the little rooster today, very busy but were seated quickly, food was out in a reasonable time, I got the ultimate hash with sourdough toast and she got the coconut waffle with strawberries, while mine was very good , some of the hash was a bit overcooked and i thought the portion was a bit small for the... We were on the move from Killington, VT to the Berkshires in Massachusetts and stopped at the Little Rooster Café in Manchester. We had read good things in the reviews on this place and were looking forward to breakfast. We had a very brief wait and were seated in the tiny dining room. It was about 15 minutes before we... Always friendly service, hearty portions and a delicious breakfast. The pancakes never disappoint and there are creative omelet specials each day.

We have eaten here several times over the years - with the old owner Huib as well as the new owner - it has always been a very enjoyable experience. The room is quite small but it is very cute inside. The waitstaff is always efficient and nice. We always tend to get pancackes and hash it is always a... More

We stopped in here to try a new spot to start the day. I liked that they offered me hazelnut coffee as I walked in the door. I was disappointed that the menu lacked standard omelet choices, like a ham and cheese omelet. They did have a special board, but nothing struck my fancy. I went with a standard breakfast... More

The restaurant may be small, but the experience is not. There is a good selection of choices on the menu, plus daily specials on the blackboard. The omelets are fluffy and filled with fresh ingredients. The waffle varieties change daily. The service is friendly. The cook is awesome. One note = CASH ONLY. There are ATM's nearby if you don't... We hadn't been to the Little Rooster in a few years and decided to have breakfast there on our last visit to Manchester. The food was a good as I remembered. I enjoyed the garden, herbed scrambled eggs on an english muffin with tomato and cheese and the hash browns are sooooo good.

We are a local family and I drive by this restaurant all the time. I finally had an opportunity to try the restaurant with my daughter just before Christmas. There is no kids menu, the tables and chairs are very uncomfortable, and very close together. My back was killing me when we left. To top it off, its CASH only,... More

Not your standard breakfast fare. If you want something different, give it a try! Very tasty. We also loved the rooster decor.
