Worth a Try

Spending some time riding motorcycles on the back roads and came across this gem. Had a sandwich for lunch, fresh bread and great meats. You will not want to miss his one.

Service was slow and erratic. My guests and I could hear the owners fighting in the kitchen. When our food finally arrived the sides were rubber and tasted as if they had been made well ahead of time and microwaved for service. Not worth the time or money. I certainly will not be stopping in again on my way through... More

We stopped here to hear some jazz music over appitizers and wine before heading out to a late dinner. The staff were very helpful in accommodating us. Even though the tables appeared booked for the night they were able to squeeze us in for an hour so we could listen to the music and relax over an app. It was... More

We went to Ponce after reading reviews and simply put, wish we hadn't. We arrived at 1.30pm and the lunch rush was already done, we were the only table who had to order but that still took 25 minutes to happen. The soup of the day was recommended so we each ordered a cup. The recommended soup never arrived. Apparently,... More

My wife and I stopped by for lunch this past weekend. The menu posted outside said gluten free options were available. I informed our waitress that I have a gluten allergy (Celiac disease), and was told that although they don't have a gluten-free kitchen, they had gluten free bread available and could accommodate me. I ordered what I thought would... More

The food is excellent and the choices are varied. Early on a Sunday afternoon we could choose off the breakfast, brunch, or bistro menus. Among four of us we had a quiche, breakfast quesadillas, crab bruschetta, and marinated shrimp with peanut sauce. All were generous portions, flavorful, carefully prepared and presented. The restaurant takes particular pride in its quiches but... More

This lovely quaint restaurant is managed by a husband and wife team. They both are seen in the kitchen and in front of the house. The wife is a creative chef with interesting selections that also feature healthy selections that taste as well as the wonderful rich Beef Stroganoff. Jazz night on Saturdays couple of times a month is very... More

This is a beautiful little restaurant, very cozy with a small bar area as well as an amazing coffee bar on one side. The preparation and presentation of the food was wonderful. Portions were perfect, not too large. The food was absolutely delicious. It's a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. I highly recommend restaurant! You will not be... More

It is a lovely restaurant with nice atmosphere. There is a bar on one site with few tables and a fireplace. The dining room is adjacent to the bar area with few tables and a large group table. The night we were there, there was a 3-person jazz band Good company and good music made somewhat bearable 1 hour and... More

The salad and sandwich selection is fresh, unique and different. Presentation is beautiful as are the personalities of the servers. The portions are just right, not over or under sized. The price is very good for the area. This old house was converted and the two dining areas are cozy, classy, and comfortable. This is my favorite place to have... More
