Manchester, VT has many restaurants but the Silver Fork has to be the best food and service. Very small but delightful atmosphere. Reservations a must. Fun to sit at the small bar.

We had an excellent meal here during our stay in Manchester. The menu was very creative and the dishes well put together. The chef infuses many different influences for a quite eclectic and tasty menu. There are only about 5 tables and seating at the bar so call ahead for reservations

We just went there for dinner tonight and it was outstanding! The concierge at the hotel made the reservation and must have told them we needed vegatarian options because when Melody, oneod the owners, seated us she right away told us she knew we were looking for vegatarian and went through the menu to give us recommendations. All of the... More

This restaurant has literally about 5 tables and 6 seats at the bar. The food is outstanding and the hostess is talkative but sincere. The deserts--especially the warm meringue was amazing. Highly recommended and you need reservations in advance since it doesn't seat many people at all.

When you enter a restaurant, and see only 6 tables, it's either very good or very bad! This one is exceptional. Chef Mark has such a diversified background, you know you can return and find new and interesting items each time. His strong influences of the Caribbean and German understudy, are evident in most dishes. Very attentive staff as well.... More

This tiny local hot spot is the place to go when in town. Hard to get in to because there are only 6 tables. They do also have 5-6 seats at the bar if you like bar dining, which we do. A large menu with many flavors to choose from, and a choice for everyone. We have sampled many things... More

The Silver Fork was beyond delicious--and what a variety! HOLY MOLY! The food was so good and it was so adorable! My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in Manchester and enjoyed the dinner service from our pleasant waiter, bus boy and hostess, Melody (also the wife of the chef). The Rum in the Coconut martini, Spring Rain cocktail and... More

Even a few days after our meal we are still talking about the tuna ceviche appetizer. It was a very inventive presentation and combination of flavors and ingredients. Loved the crispy tostones, chopped mango pieces, and slightest amount of heat. Make a reservation in advance, as this is a tiny place and fills up fast!

I'm not even a foodie, but I loved this restaurant and am already trying to figure out a detour to eat there again. The chef is amazing, the food is creative and delicious (there were no "misses"). His wife runs the front and is charming and makes great drinks. The entire staff is great. Be sure to make a reservation... More
