Located in the center of Manchester Center, this Thai restaurant and a full selection of thai appetizers, entrees, and is extremely reasonably priced. The tables are nicely decorated with fresh flowers, double table cloths on all tables, and the decor is appropriate and not overdone. The restaurant has excellent views of the main drag through Manchester, and, with the recent... More

We frequently travel to Manchester and each trip includes a dinner at Thai Basil. Their food is fantastic and service has always been great. Since our previous trip, I learned that I had celiacs, so our restaurant choices were based on the availability of gluten-free options. Thai Basil's menu has many options that are clearly labeled with a "GF" so... More

Upscale white table cloths belie uneven food and service. Ordered tea for two and got cups of water and bag selection. Tom Yum soup was cloudy and bland. Basil rolls very nice. Asked for spicy basil pork. Server, Nan forgot. Second try it was tasty. Empty water glass was annoying.

It was a pleasant surprise as we stepped into the restaurant, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was wonderful, very fresh and fragrant, definitely a good place for a sit-down dinner.

Good, authentic Thai food and quality service. They are over-cautious on "hot" markers as the actual food is quite tame. The menu is solid, but somewhat limited in scope relative to other Thai places I've been.

Based on a local recommendation, I chose the Thai Basil to spend my Saturday night. Wow, everything was excellent! This is NOT your pedestrian Thai place. To start with, the martini selection is really interesting. I chose the ginger martini and it was probably the best martini I've ever had. The red curry was incredibly tasteful and the service was... Came here after a day of skiing at Bromley. What a fantastic finish to a wonderful day! For a family it is reasonable and very much a cut above your steak and Pizza fare. Well worth it. Promise you won't be disappointed.

We were craving Thai food since our local Thai restaurant went out of business. I tried it due to the good reviews on TripAdvisor. I made a reservation and they seated us immediately. It has a great atmosphere and lots of families. Our server was very attentive and paced the meal well. When soup was taking awhile he told us... More

You walk in an notice immediately the tablecloths and glasses. Clean and elegant. Food authentically spiced but not so hot you cannot taste the ingredients. Service is friendly and attentive. The room is intimate but well lit with windows on both sides. We had lunch and if we had been in Manchester longer would have returned for dinner. Don't miss... More

My sons and I visited Thai Basil during a recent ski trip to Vermont. It is a small restaurant, so I would recommend reservations. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive to the children. After a long day of skiing we were hungry and the food did not disappoint. Though the portions were not huge, they were just enough to... More
