we only went because TripAdvisor recommended it... not a mistake; it was an experience; while our order was being filled, we wondered through the furniture dept; that's a first! Also a first, was the lamb pizza...delicious.

Looking for dining opportunities in Manchester, Vermont and stumbled on Depot Cafe. Light disappearing from the sky, a warm glow drew us in from behind a rather nondescript larger main street building. Interesting decor, the restaurant is inside a furniture store and the showroom is actually the dining room... actually some pretty interesting pieces on the furniture side... Turkish food,... More

I was excited to test this place out when it was recommended by a bartender in Ludlow, VT. Good restaurants in this area are few and far between and I really wanted to love this place. Problem is, I really hated it. The menu is small, though there are quite a few pizzas, which is what I ended up ordering,... More

Depot Cafe is a must stop for me and my family on our trips through Vermont. The restaurant is owned by a Turkish family that actually sells upscale and somewhat middle Eastern furniture from the same store. There are tables for 4 or you can opt for the long table and share the time with other guests. We go there... More

Stopped in for dinner with a party of 7. Very limited & strange menu options. Pizzas were excellent, soup special very good but all downhill from there. Branzino not deboned, salmon smelled from here to the moon & back so we sent it back, chicken not very flavorful. Shrimp on one pizza was slimy. Not a good experience at all,... More

We always enjoy the authentic turkish cuisine and the divine pizzas (which are made in clear sight). Dining amidst imported furniture and accessories makes the experience more interesting and unusual. I only wish the servers were friendlier and more eager to help. Our party of eight had no complaints about the food. We devoured the appetizers - hummus, eggplant, red... More

My husband and I decided to try The Depot Friday night.Everything was an A!We had the lamb and parseley pita(pizza),lamb kofta(sp),and 2 salads which was more than enough.I loved the atmosphere. The open hearth, the antique tables and antiques surrounding us made for an inviting setting.I ended the meal with a Turkish coffee-excellent.We can't wait to go back and try some other... This place was recommended to us by people who worked int he outlet shops nearby. It is the cutest place where you can shop for wonderful original pieces for your home and also eat some delicious turkish delights. They also have a wood fire oven that makes delicious pizza's! Great spot with warm ambience perfect for brunch or to fuel... More

This place has great pizza and the decor is very interesting. The staff is a little rough around the edges but considering how good the food is, its worth taking a trip. It is interesting to see how a restaurant could be in the middle of a antique furniture store but they managed to do it. I would return for... More

Wonderful restaurant in the middle of an antique furniture store. Sounds crazy but the food is not. The wood fire oven pizza is to die for. Try the wild mushroom pizza. It was fantastic. The bosnian-turkish food was unusual and delicious. Veal and lamb patties with roasted tomato and pepper was fun to eat and delicious. Ilove this place for... More
