But what do you expect at a ski resort? The menu is overly ambitious and under-delivers. The French onion soup was fair but, as usual, too salty. The Caesar salad was strangely dry (but at least it wasn't overdressed). The crab cakes were good but came on a bed of mismatching vegetables and with a... read more

Improved over prior years and food much better quality with a new and better farmhouse focussed, local produce style menu. Quality of the kids menu food was especially improved. Quite a big restaurant so when full the kitchen seems a bit overwhelmed by the numbers but not an issue if you dine early. Very nice wait staff. Also, it seems... More

Our family ate here three times . Lunch twice and dinner. Quality of food was very good all three times. Reservation for dinner was honored and host and service staff were extremely friendly and attentive .Pricing is very reasonable . This hotel is a three star hotel but the restaurant is very much superior to the hotel. My guess is... More

We waited for 5 minutes at the greeting/seating station for someone to show up there just to seat us. We had 4 meals: NY strips ($37), the short ribs ($29), and the veal chop ($39). They were good, but the sauce was strange tasting and left an aftertaste. Service at the table was very good.

We have spent the last 5 News Years Eve here. There are few options for a nice dinner in Ludlow Each year Coleman brook has deteriorated a little This was the last time we will go there. They have a children's New Years from 5:00-9:00. Our reservations were at 9:00 to avoid this. It was chaotic The place was a... More

After approaching the manager Marc Miller about eating there with our kids who are gluten free, I booked it immediately. He took so much time in explaining the menu choices and the carefulness they would take in handling our food. Our waitress Jennifer was so friendly and well informed about Celiac and knew exactly what we could eat. The chef,... More

This was our first time staying at the Jackson Gore Inn. We booked for two nights and extended our stay for one more night. When we checked in on New Year's Eve the place was hoping! With all the craziness of the partying, the staff was great. We got into our room before 5pm (Standard Check In time). We didn't... More

We arrived at okemo Christmas Day and this was where we ad our Christmas dinner. We had a reservation. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly (she grew up near where we live so that was nice to chat with someone from home) and the staff very attentive. It was a holiday so the longer wait was... More

Great location and they were open during the slow stick season of early November, so we gave them a shot. The staff was attentive and friendly, but the food was completely uninspiring. Drinks were big, but also not terribly good. Not at all worth the price, except that the room is beautiful. Maybe the slow season meant they were also... More

Always a good place for lunch, with great burgers and salads. Dinner is sometimes problematic, with overly fussy recipes. Steak appears to be a big hit. In any case, just finished their Thanksgiving buffet, which was outstanding. Clever and delicious salads, beautifully cooked turkey and leg of lamb. Sides (mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, mixed veggies) were also excellent. Desserts, from... More
