The Hatchery has been serving up great breakfast and lunch for at least 25 years I know of.Some of the same people still work there as when i first walked in in 1993.

We had an early morning breakfast at the Hatchery. The staff was friendly and service amazingly fast! My family had a multitude of items including the French toast, breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. Everyone's favorite were the home fries, fresh made, seasoned to perfection and topped off with scallions. Great meal. :) PS, it is on Main Street in Ludlow and... More

This little breakfast place bakes their own bread. They use local ingredients and have all the usual favorites. I found the corned beef hash to be very good. The dining room is small and the tables are close together.

When in Ludlow, go to breakfast where the locals go...always something interesting on the menu. Located at the main cross streets of Ludlow, you can see everything that's going on in town while you are eating your meal.

Good little breakfast place. Nothing out of the ordinary. We get the usual scrambled eggs with toast & meat choice. I am a big coffee drinker and it's average.

The french toast here is amazing! Cash only though which I thought was a bit odd, so make sure you are prepared before sitting down for you meal!

While ziplining at Okemo our tour was stopped due to lightening. We wondered into town for local fare. The shop didn't turn us away at a few minutes before closing. They were friendly and the food was good

I had breakfast here Tuesday morning with Family. I had the pancakes with chocolate chips and walnuts. They were large ,but they left an after-taste.Not to be too graphic but shortly after eating I urgently needed to go to the bathroom and then many more times after that.

My high school friends and I met in Vermont for a brief reunion this summer, and we ate brunch one morning at the Hatchery in the lovely little town of Ludlow. It was a laid-back, friendly restaurant on the main drag with an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. One of us was vegan, but all of us were happy with... More

The service is terrific - attentive, no need to ask for coffee refills and quick. We were a party of 4 for breakfast, but I wanted a sandwich - not a problem. Each of us was happy with our food, the potatoes and the sausages got rave reviews from my husband. The place was clean and bright, perfect for breakfast.
