Great breakfast place

This place is small but the turnover seemed quick so we waited no more than about three minutes for a table. The food was great! The menu is full of creative breakfast meals to satisfy anyone's preferences. They serve real VT syrup with their waffles and it is very good. A couple of us ordered... read more

My fiancé and I visited The Hatchery on a Friday morning around 11:00 am. There was one other table seated at the time and we were seated quickly by the waitress. The friendly waitress brought us coffee and water promptly and came back in a short time for our orders. My fiancé got an omelette with cheddar and hash which... More

This is what it is. Great breakfast, hot coffee, great service! Affordable prices too. We ate there twice and enjoyed it both days.

Breakfast is the major meal served here . Service is quick, so that you can get on the slopes quickly or if you want a more leisurely bkf. The place does get crowded early Food is great, we all had different entrees , each was delicious .

Breakfast served all day ..until 2PM closing. Be sure to getup and out early. The HATCHERY is on the corner and is always a HOT SPOT. They have some unique sandwiches and their PANCAKES are great! Coffee HOT and good!

Breakfast places have a limited scope, and when you are in a remote area, expect fewer top notch choices. I gave it 4 out of five because the food was good, with a few unique offerings, such as the goat cheese, shallot and crisp bacon omelet. Breakfast is breakfast, but all the plates I saw served had good flair and... More

I just read the review with the rude waitress and am sorry you had that experience. Keeping in mind that this is a breakfast/lunch place in Vermont, expectations should be lowered a bit. There is no excuse for rude behavior from any staff member and that is unfortunate. The menu is extensive for breakfast, the food is very good, service... More

I will start by saying.... I grew up in the "service" industry. My parents owned a restaurant from the time I was 4, until they sold it when I was 19 (in a very popular tourist community, where word of mouth is everything) and I can appreciate both points of view (Customer and Restaurant). And the story goes........ My family... More

We stumbled across this restaurant in Ludlow Vermont on a ski trip. We went in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. My wife ordered Cinnamon Raisin French Toast, I ordered the Vermont Three Cheese Omelet. It came with apples, bacon and cheese inside. The home fries had fresh scallions in them. We loved it so much we went back again... More
