St. Patrick's Day

The Killarney is an Irish Reaturant in Ludlow VT. We had dinner (corn beef and cabbage) there. The service was quick ( the rest was full). The food was good. There was an Irish Band playing after our dinner. We sang our hearts out and had a very enjoyable time for St. Patrick's Day.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say that the staff at Killarney is amazing. I left my jacket there one night with a lot of cash in it. IT WAS ALL RETURNED TO ME ! It's not often anymore you come in counter with honest kind people. Cheers to you all for the great service beer food and a... More

Thank you for the kind words! Our team couldn't be happier to return everything to you. We know just how stressful it can be when you realize you've left something behind, and we're glad we could take a load off your mind. Looking forward to welcoming you back for more of your favorite grub sometime soon. Take care, Mark -... More

We were in the mood for some Irish food, so I had the Shepherds Pie and my husband had the bangers and mash. I liked mine, he didn't like his. He really didn't know what to expect though. Kind of disappointed in the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Well we're disappointed to read this, and I apologize for any lapse between expectation and reality. Bangers and mash aren't necessarily for everyone, but we hope that he's willing to give them another shot. Our atmosphere is constantly evolving, so we hope to see you back in soon to get the five-star experience you deserve. Please give me a call... More

Went there while on a guys ski trip to Okemo mountain in Vermont. They have a good selection of beers including Boddington's which one of the guys in our group was particularly looking for. The food and service was also very good. Many of us had the fish and chips which was pretty good and other who had other dishes... More

If you're looking for a fun bar with lots of character, this is it. The walls and ceiling are covered with patches from all over and story pieces galore. Food is quite good here and bartenders friendly.

We love the word "character," fungrltraveler -- you just know us so well. Seriously, thanks for this great review and kind words. The bartenders will appreciate the praise, and will look forward to the next time you make it up here. All the best, Mark - Owner More

Meeting up with some friends for a late lunch.. they skied all day while I worked. Natalie took great care of us 6 needy people. Came in for lunch and had great service from our waiter John. The food was outstanding paired with the brews recommended by him. Cool atmosphere. Went back for the live band one night and had a blast with the locals. Great place!

Love seeing this! We're always working hard to step up our game, and I'm glad the live band went over well! Come back by on Thursdays, we'll be having Irish music from now on -- it'll be a blast. All the best, Mark - Owner More

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. The pub was busy, but not super crowded. Service was very slow. Food was good though. TVs are only at the bar area, we could not watch the games from the restaurant.

Thanks for stopping in! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed your meals, but wish you could have said the same for the service. That definitely doesn't sound like us, and I'm confident things with be much speedier and more accommodating next time around. Hopefully, we'll have some seats open at the bar so you can catch the game. Cheers!... More

I stopped in here for a drink with some friends. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in a 'local' bar. They had a decent beer selection. We had already eaten but the food coming out of the kitchen looked decent.

When you're here, you might as well be a local! That being said, we like to think we've got some pretty good brews and some pretty fantastic food. Try the Verbacon burger with a local Vermont draft -- you won't be disappointed. All the best, Mark - Owner More

The food was good but for a couple of beers and a burger for two it was over $60.00. Prices too high for an Irish pub.
