great meal and beers!

All food was excellent and beer selection was incredible! Service was slow for a Saturday. Many people waited even longer than we did.

Had a salmon salad with my Guinness which was awesome but the service compares. There was no topping the friendly and efficient service as well. There was so much salad I had to take some home but the salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. THe restaurant was also decorated so cute with little lights over the bar. It is a... More

I'm sorry that you had a bit of a wait. We'll work on being speedier with the service. Luckily, the food and the beer did the trick though! We'd love to have you back for an even better experience. Cheers, Mark - Owner More

I know some of the menu has Irish names for typical American fare, but the real Irish cuisine here is excellent. If you are not sure about real Irish food recipes go online and find out before you go. Bangers and mash, for example, great Irish sausage (the bangers) and mash (mashed potatos mixed with julienne cabbage). The service was... More

You can never go wrong with some great Irish fare, can you? Stop in for more bangers and mash any time you have a craving, and we'll have your fix -- don't forget the Guinness! Looking forward to seeing you again very soon! Cheers, Mark - Owner More

We were desperate to find a drink and a snack this past Tuesday and we quickly learned that we were visiting the area in the off-season. Places were closed or just completely gone out of business. It was by luck that we stumbled into Killarney. They have a good selection of beers on tap, but sadly, no chilled glasses (they... More

We're glad that Tyler could make you feel at home, Debbie. Luckily you stumbled upon us and, as a result, some tasty beers. It seems like Tyler could help you put together a make-shift meal even though we weren't open for dinner service yet. Twice in one day? That means we're doing something right. I'm going to relay your message... More

Saturday evening a couple of friends of mine decided to have dinner at Killarney. The host seamed stressed and not at all welcoming, but there were hardly any patrons. The bar area was slightly busy but not overwhelmed by any means. The food came fairly fast .We all had ordered some type of sandwich ,one had a burger,a club and 2 BLT's.So... More

I'm so sorry to hear that you were met with a stressed hostess, Jeff. While we all sometimes get stressed out, it's not great form on our part to display it to our customers. We are going to learn from this and improve going forward. About the food: It's no good for a restaurant to run out of mayo (it's... More

The Killarney is an Irish Reaturant in Ludlow VT. We had dinner (corn beef and cabbage) there. The service was quick ( the rest was full). The food was good. There was an Irish Band playing after our dinner. We sang our hearts out and had a very enjoyable time for St. Patrick's Day.

We were in the mood for some Irish food, so I had the Shepherds Pie and my husband had the bangers and mash. I liked mine, he didn't like his. He really didn't know what to expect though. Kind of disappointed in the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Well we're disappointed to read this, and I apologize for any lapse between expectation and reality. Bangers and mash aren't necessarily for everyone, but we hope that he's willing to give them another shot. Our atmosphere is constantly evolving, so we hope to see you back in soon to get the five-star experience you deserve. Please give me a call... More

If you're looking for a fun bar with lots of character, this is it. The walls and ceiling are covered with patches from all over and story pieces galore. Food is quite good here and bartenders friendly.
